That's merely your opinion, not a fact. After 9 episodes, I prefer GT's adventures to Daima's. Less ship traveling, more planet visits, different surroundings for the viewer's eye. And this is in fact merely my opinion.

I, for one, see nothing wrong with Majin Kuu's design. Considering what he's made of, makes perfect sense. Not sure what people were expecting either.

I think it's simpler than that

The joke is Goku being uncivilized savage monkey because it feels funny, no mare thought put into it
I think this simple post says so much about how I feel about Daima so far and how I think people are wounding themselves in a tizzy demanding Daima to be more than what it intends to be. Because I think it's clear that Daima is not going to suddenly ramp up the intensity to DBZ levels in the back half of this series. Daima is a case of what you see is what you get: Which is a pleasant ride featuring likeable characters on an adventure. And I'm okay with that.

I won't demand that Daima feature bombastic action sequences like DBZ, but I will demand it not waste my time with repetitive, boring plots that go nowhere. I say this as someone who likes GT and the OG adventure arcs, Daima is dragging its feet hard at this point.

Super Hero also seemed to be a fairly low-key affair (by DB movie standards) until it went batshit in the climax, and based on some leaks/rumours, I am half-expecting Daima to suddenly pump the adrenaline towards the very end of the series.

I can't think of many Dragon Ball projects that are completely monotonous, tonally speaking. I'm sensing a gear shift in the near future.
