I think the Z fighters were far too forgiving towards Vegeta, since every time Vegeta messed up, they didn't take any action towards him or ban him from the group. His was always welcome to any fight.

You are not reading what people are saying, are you? we've all read and watched the show, we are not newcomers, we know what happened. What you seem to be overlooking is that 95% of the time, only Goku can overpower Vegeta, and he doesn't give a fuck.

The only character that could overpower Vegeta are these:

- Gohan (Doesn't care)
- Future Trunks (Cares too much about Vegeta to do anything)
- Piccolo (Was too weak when Vegeta screwed up
- Goku (which you covered already)
- Gotenks (Doesn't know about Vegeta screw up)

Everyone was too weak to do anything. So I believe your calculation is good.

You can't compare Chiaotzu to Vegeta, or even 18 or Goten-Trunks, literal children who can be convinced through methods other than fighting.

In RoF the Z fighters literally whined about their number of fighters being really low, yet they were picky on who could come to fight. C18 is way stronger than Kuririn. Goten and Trunks when they fuse they are the strongest or 2nd strongest on earth while Goku and Vegeta are away on another planet.

In the Cell Saga Vegeta is the 3rd strongest.
In the Buu Saga Vegeta is the 4th strongest.

Chiaotzu yes he is too weak to make a difference.
