Guy on MFG posted this. It has all the screen caps already posted, but one more which is the awesomeness of my day.

I love Chibi Goku in that picture. And I just realized Burdock was also staring at the moon. That's an awesome way to transform into an Oozaru.

If you keep whining about games coming out just don't buy them.Conan the SSJ wrote:Another game coming to the Ps2 console, for the love of... I believe I've made my feelings clear numerous times on the matter of the obvious overwhelming amount of constant DBZ games for the Ps2 that seem to milk the same story arcs we all know and have played over and over and over and over with the choice of quantity over quality for fighter treatment (mainly referring to the first 2 Sparking! games). Is that Nail I see, well, it isn't like he wasn't available as an alternate skin for Piccolo in all three Budokai games (though fans of his dub Schemmel voice may be in for a treat). It's nice to see we're getting King Cold and King Vegeta, but realistically, this is just too little too late to catch my genuine interest. I'll obviously buy this when it comes to the States (and we know it will, Atari wouldn't resist a second for their main cash-cow), if anything just so I can say my collection of NA released DBZ PlayStation games is as complete as possible. All though, who knows, maybe this one will be special and actually be the best DBZ game yet; Lord knows SPIKE's had enough practice and other games to compare its own work to. If Budokai 3 can do it, maybe Sparking! Meteor can.
And so it goes on.![]()
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

I'm very intrigued about stages taking place both at day and night. I hope that is for every stage. Then again I should have known seeing the first few pictures... I just assumed the moon Bardock was staring at was part of a transformation sequence.

I'm entitled to complain and still make purchases of said release. My main reason of complaining is I'm just tired of Atari and Bandai forcing more DBZ games onto the Ps2 when it's literally had more than its fill. But even so, I'd like for at least my Ps2 collection to be complete, so it's more a matter of me being forced to get this upcoming game. I'd like to not buy it, but then my collection would be incomplete. Thank you first amendment for my right to bitch about it, regardless.Jord wrote:If you keep whining about games coming out just don't buy them.

Well, I love it being on the PS2 seeing how expansive the PS3 is so this is a good thing for me... Anyway, so day and night? Sounds awesome.

I wonder if the Oozaru transformation is instant upon the rise of the moon, or if you have to push a trigger to look at it? Considering the heights appear different in the Bardock and Goku images I'm figuring you have to look yourself. I'm also wondering if the transformation reverses when the moon goes down?
And for Vegeta and Turles... do they have to use the moon or can they create a moon ball? I think that's how they should have done it for all of them in BT2. At least then their sudden transformations in the middle of the day would have made sense. >>

"Damnit, stop doing this. I keep buying stuff and you keep making it!"
Grow some cajones, please. If you go ahead and buy every single DBZ game, what exactly does that prove? How does it stop the vicious cycle?

I explain my reasoning and now you're suddenly on my ass about it? Are my feelings and choices on the DBZ video games suddenly grounds for you to insult me? Really, if you have issues with me, PM me about it. There's no reason to act like a complete dick on the forums after I already made myself clear. If you haven't established being a jerk on this forum before, you've done it now.ETC123 wrote:Grow some cajones, please. If you go ahead and buy every single DBZ game, what exactly does that prove? That's assuming that the stages have real-time changes. What they said was,Xyex wrote:I'm also wondering if the (Oozaru) transformation reverses when the moon goes down?
"...the environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. The power of the moon in the night stages gives players additional ways to transform their characters..."
That might mean that you can only pick a day version or a night version, and that time doesn't progress while you're actually fighting. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.
The guy who wants water is Namu. I'd kinda like to see him too.Maker777 wrote:Heres my list of characters I want and should be put in.

As for Chaozu though, he was already wearing his DragonBall-era clothes in the last two games.

There are two "emotional stages" in fans. First it's the one in which the fan constantly praises his object of fandom, and the other one is the one in which the fan constantly complains about it. In both stages the fan constantly watches / spends time with his object of fandom. He just expresses himself differently.ETC123 wrote:I love the logic of this-Conan the SSJ wrote:My main reason of complaining is I'm just tired of Atari and Bandai forcing more DBZ games onto the Ps2 when it's literally had more than its fill. Conan is in the second stage right now. He still loves DBZ, but he's "constantly bitching" about this or that. This doesn't make him any less of a fan than you; he just expresses his fandom in another way.
Conan, before you think that I'm insulting you or something, I feel exactly the same way where DBZ PS2 games are concerned.
As for the game, I only hope they'll include the BT2 Wii Europe / Japan exclusive characters, as well as all of Daimaoh's offspring and Bojack's henchmen. And have a story mode similar to that of Budokai 1. Other than that, they can knock themselves out where development is concerned.
"Destiny"... people claim by force what they desire, wreak havoc upon others in order to acquire it... and they call it "destiny".
Random thought... in the MMPR fighting game for Genesis, there was a system by which the giants (Megazords) could not fight the not giants (PRs), but the monsters, being that they could grow by the power of a magic wand flung from the moon, could fight either group. Ok, stupid idea for DBZ, since going against the odds is a theme of the series from start to finish... but meh, what's fun about being in a vs match and picking Yamcha, only to have your opponent get tired of losing and throw Kid Buu at you? ... Of course there was that filler scene on Grand Kai's planet... but... that's not the point...
*ahem*. Anyone else noticing the huge degrees of variety in the various lists of desired characters? Based on this thread alone, how many people are going to be satisfied? If we're only looking at less than thirty new characters, clearly something else has to be changed or added to make this game more than a market-milking waste, unless it's prepping for an upgrade MK3 style. Actually, a "what characters do you want to add to the new Sparking! game?" thread could have like, a post keeping track of how many characters are desired and which are the most commonly requested... *somehow thinks the developers of the game might do something like that if they've got any sense*... Heh, we'd get to yell about who we want, and illustrate a point at the same time... sounds like a win-win to me.
