 I didn´t catch that until you brought it up. This kind of small (nitpicky) inconsitencies (if you could call them that) makes the series much more entertaining to me.
Now I'm just imagining Kaio having some kind of garbage chute that would be too small for Goku to fit in that leads to Earth, and going "Hmm, I wonder if Goku needs some new clothes?" And just shoving clothes down it.

This is now my headcanon.
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Maybe he just gave the clothes to Baba to give to Goku? Or Materialized it directly in Goku's room

On Goku's love of fighting being exaggerated as the series went on- I don't really think that's true. The dumbest things he did for the sake of a good fight were at the 23rd Budokai, IMO, which was before he was ever revealed as a saiyan.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Goku was stronger than Piccolo and Piccolo's life was linked to Kaio's.

Vegeta was stronger than all of them and his life wasn't linked to anyone.

I will have to say that it was worse with Vegeta.

Don't forget the Cell arc where he thinks its fine to put himself and everyone else in harms way instead of just stopping the apocalypse before it can happen, as anyone with common sense would.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

It's not just that (though those aren't really good justifications; he's basically the same strength as Piccolo, and he can still just seal him in a rice cooker). It's stuff like him rejecting everyone else's help for the sake of fairness, and giving Piccolo a free shot.

I never said it was Goku's fault exclusively, its the entire cast who deserve to die in the Cell arc for such decisions but Goku was still part of it.

Technically, they did get what they "deserved". Trunks just so happened to do everyone a favor from the future.

You mean by coming to the past? Honestly, Trunks' very existence is the problem with the Cell arc, write him and his alternate timeline crap out and you'd create a situation that'd be pretty similar to what we got anyway minus turning everyone into an amoral jackass. Trunks' future doesn't even work as its own universe when you realize Goku & King Kai can just call the Namekian's or send Bulma the coordinates to New Namek to revive most of the dead fighters & people and beat the Androids.

I always saw that as his Saiyan instincts strengthening with each new challenge pushing him to the brink and then some. Even more so after becoming a Super Saiyan.

DBD: The Freeza Arc Part 4!

Vegeta beats people up, gets beaten up, steals Dragon Balls. I look at plot points most people I suspect have expected me to rail on and go, "Eh, I'm okay with it." Now is not the time for anger. That comes later...

If it's about Freeza's transformations or character power up's, I am preparing a counter-rant. :)

I also don't mind Gohan and Kuririn power up, plus, it was also useful, it helped them survive long enough while fighting with Ginyu Force and Ginyu-Goku. I like to think of DBZ Movies as what if scenarios, with is why Piccolo is still alive, he and others survived fight against Saiyans :) I still don't get it why anime removed that Zarbon's line about Freeza transformation, especially since Vegeta still say Zarbon told him.

But the movie literally shows him being hit by Nappa's death blast! =P

I'm of the opinion it was an accident. They changed the pacing of the fight so that there wasn't a big break before Zarbon slammed him into the ground. Therefore, there ended up being no place to put that line.
