Woo-hoo for new shots! Not much to say on the first Goku and Vegeta ones, but on the second part, it's nice to see more of the background gang in action. They've been long overdue for another chance to shine, and it looks like this might be their chance to show off their skills. Interesting that between this and the Heroes trailer though, that it does seem like Sorbet fights too. I was starting to think he was more of a Babidi-type of role. And as far as Gohan getting taken out, I'm also betting on it being Freeza, since wasn't there an implication that he and Piccolo went to take him on first? I can't imagine it going too well.

Oh, and speaking of Piccolo, no wonder he's getting taken down there. One does not fight Tim Curry and expect to win.

Also, not gonna lie - looking forward to a bigger/better quality version of that Kuririn shot to add to my collection. That and, come to think of it, we've still only seen Cop Kuririn via Toriyama's design, and Toyotaro's manga, but not one animated scene yet. Huh.

Vegeta's blue aura reminds me of Goku's aura in the Battle of Gods trailer.

Anyone think that there's a possibility that future trunks might return as either a surprise in this movie or in a movie to come? The whole post Cell era it almost seemed like he was forgotten about but now it seems that he's also the target of Freeza's revenge. While normally I would assume it would be the younger Trunks that would be in trouble, the lack of mention of either him or Goten makes me think there's some kind of switch up about to happen somehow.

Ngl, I have thought about the possibility of Future Trunks appearing in this movie as well. I am mostly glad they haven't forgotten about him defeating Freeza.

Who knows, maybe he's taking Trunks and Goten on a time trip.

Aside from the Beerus and Whis shot, I agree. The film's definitely nailing the darker tone that a lot of people were looking forward to.

I hope it'll look good in motion but I'm not holding my breath. We still have no idea who's doing any of the key animation, do we?

It looks nothing akin to Goku's ritual, so I'd say he's just powering up

As somebody who wasn't a big fan of the Buu era, it's REALLY awesome to see Tien, Bald Krillin, Bowl Cut Gohan, Roshi, and Piccolo back in action. Feels like it's been forever!

Crack theory: For some absurd reason, Vegeta is talked into rejoining Frieza, probably from the tyrant appealing to his still dormant darkness, and in the shot of him standing over Goku, Goku's asking, "Vegeta...why?"

Obviously there's absolutely no basis to the theory, it would be dumb anyway, but hey, might as well make something out of the stuff we're getting

Besides Tagoma and Sorbet, I was expecting recycled character design for the Freeza Soldiers. But that guy beating Piccolo is different...
I wonder If Freeza soldiers will become OP or Z Fighters wil become weaker. Gohan and Piccolo are having a hard time.
