Wouldn't surprise me, but I honestly don't think Beerus or Whis will be fighting at all in this movie (well aside from sparring with Goku and Vegeta).

Anyway, I really hope Freeza's henchmen received some sort of external help powering them up because to have them be able to fight and defeat the Z fighters at this point without any kind of external power-up is ridiculous.

That still is far too illogical IMO. Piccolo and especially Gohan at this point would destroy Namek Saga Freeza in seconds. To have henchmen be that strong naturally just wreaks of terrible writing considering Freeza had a galaxy spanning empire and nobody was anywhere near as strong as him in said empire.

Judging from the trailer it looks like Beerus vs Freeza When the saiyan's are around Whis the sky is pink on that planet. and Gohan gets Knocked out on earth.

I can think of 2 things:
-Maybe they're talking with Freeza or some of his soldiers (Sorbet)
-Maybe they're looking how things are going in the battle at a distance that they can see and not be involved, and Beerus is commenting to Whis something related to the situation or he's telling him what he's going to do about it.

About the rocks:
I haven't thought about it, but then maybe they're doing their work?
or maybe its just space rocks, not necessary rocks of a planet recently destroyed? *I'm going with this theory*

About earth being Destroyed by Beerus:
I don't think he's going to destroy Earth, theres no reason for it (unless he do gets irritated by something of earth).
*maybe he ends not liking pudding * I still don't think so.

That's Beerus firing an energy blast after he wakes up. It's not anyone fighting.
