Some badassery then ensues.
I watched the fight and it went something like this.
Gogeta fights Beerus and Whis above Earth
Gogeta and Beerus exchange words for a while
Gogeta Beats Whis and Beerus
Beerus has a cutscene
Beerus looks really happy (maybe because he has a real challenge?)
PQ#44 God of Destruction and His Master
The Streamer I was watching was using Gogeta, and if you beat Beerus in a certain amount of time he goes full power.
What is stated above can happen with any character. Note that this was back when only Japan had the game. I posted only what I seen on a livestream.
"I am neither Goku nor Vegeta! I am the one who will defeat you!!" - Gogeta

Ok, thanks. The guy who posted it wasn't aware of the context, and thought it was a Gogeta vs Beerus what-if scenario.
I loved that exchange. I remember noticing a couple of more lines that were kinda...questionable...but I can only remember what one of them was at the moment. It was one of the lines Gohan has when you talk to him when he and Videl pop up in the hub city.
Gohan: I think I have a lot to learn from Videl...haha....

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
Oh wow, that exchange is in the game? That's brilliant
I'm curious, is there any special exchange between Super 17 and Cell?
I can check. Just need to fight Cell and have Super 17 with me. Offline battles could have it too. Opening quotes has Super 17 and 17 interact.

Broly: What is that? What even is that?!

SNAAAAAAAAP! EAT IT BROLYPOTENCE!
Is this from those dialogues of the beginning of a battle?
It was in a mission that eventually triggered the dialogue. I can test it in offline battles to see if it's an opener too.
*EDIT* I did a test. Beginning quotes are the same as in the levels, but if you get these quotes as openers, you only hear half of it. Play as Goku and he just says "I'm in a world you'll never know" to Broly. Play as Broly and you get his half of the interaction. Maybe they talk more in the fight...

Wrote my conclusion above. I did 1vs1 offline, and only half the interaction is said between the two. Perhaps you get the full interaction if you fight long enough, but the opening is always half the banter. Pick Godku and he'll say his line. Pick Broly and he'll say his half of the banter. That's how the openings seem to work, unlike in other games where the full opening quotes are said by both. These quotes can be triggered fully in missions if you have certain characters on your team fighting a certain enemy. Play as Godku in a quest, and the whole quote should play out.

I wanted to ask here, what kind of character mods would you guys be most interested in?
That looks pretty sick, dude. As for Mods...maybe a hypothetical SSJ God Vegeta?
I have to ask, though, did you actually model/import Gohan's hair yourself? Or is that from another model? I ask because I've been thinking about giving this a go myself. I'm have Maya and I'm pretty well versed in it, but I'm not sure if that would even been one of the programs you'd need.
The hair was edited off of both SSJ4 Goku's and Gohan's standard hair. I did some manual vertex editing and rescaling until I got it looking somewhat proper. Then I realigned the vertices of the face to match the hair. I haven't really done much character modeling in the last year, mostly been doing environment work, so this was the easier approach, plus it made dealing with the game's textures a bit easier.
As long as you can export out to FBX, you should be fine. The current tools are available here: https://github.com/DarioSamo/LibXenoverse
I plan on doing a SSJ God Vegeta mod at some point, but we need to figure out what controls character skill assignment first. I might try doing a Fukkatsu No F outfit mod at some point.
Ahh, okay. Thanks a lot, man! I'm gonna go home and look into this stuff right away!

Why is Giant Storm so good? I was able to S rank PQ 49 (Saiyan Revolt) with ease because of that, although I couldn't get Vegetto to show. And now I have all 5 shards

Well hope you use a Saiyan, have a super saiyan skill, and enjoy babysitting an ally character. If you don't have the first 2, the mission becomes harder. If you don't like babysitting allies, then you're gonna hate this mission. After the first part things are much easier.

Yeah, I heard that dialogue. Then I killed Goku with a Gigantic Blaster and a Lariat.
Besides the Golden Frieza mod, Melpontro, I would like to ask for Time Breaker Bardock, but I do recognize that's probably way harder. Fukkatsu no F Goku and Vegeta attires would be cool too.

From what I read on this thread, I was expecting that lol. I just had to take care of the enemies Bardock was fighting and get Freeza's attention the whole time.
