OLKv3 I suppose it makes sense, but I trough SSB only had the stamina drain if used twice, so it seems a little unnecesary, unless he has in fact mastered SSG. I like it trough, SSG is always cool.

And like I said, which is why its fanficy, because they did too much of a great job with him, we had Freeza,Cell,Boo, and dont tell me Toriyama didnt try to make those villains as interesting as he possibly can, all authors do that, the main problem is if it will look like fanficy or not, Goku Black has the face of our main character doing evil deeds to which he see's as justice with a lil sadistic record on him, far as my point goes, a lot of fanfiction makers woulda done the same thing, make an evil Goku which is a high trend in the fanfiction department. I did say I was exaggerating (you didnt need to point out that I was exaggerating the 2nd time), it was meant as a sarcasm, take it as you will.Khin wrote: Like I said, Black turning out to be an amazing villain is just due to the anime staff doing a great job handling him. I don’t think the intention there is to please the fans. If I write my own story, I would try to make my villain as interesting as I can, too. And yes, there is indeed time where I hated him and wanted Goku to beat the shit out of him (most notably in episode #61).

I think I just realized why so many people like the manga and I don't. It feels like a fanfiction, Toyotaro tries so hard when writing it to make it "logical" but while being so dead set on it makes it far less logical but he will never notice or try to correct them. The thing that makes Dragonball Dragonball is the countless mistakes and changes made because of laziness and things forgotten. All of these things make stuff happen in the story which was later corrected or retconed and that's how the good parts of the series came to be. I noticed a lot of die hard fans who obsess over the universe like the manga a lot and the conclusion I've come to it that they think "this is how I would write the manga" but most of these people obviously aren't very competent writers which is why it feels like a fan-fiction. There are two types of fan-fiction: fan-fiction that just makes cool stuff for the fun of it and fan-fiction that tries to make "logical" things happen based on their own interpretation of the series. Toyotaro is the latter. Which made me realize i really won't like the story once Toyotaro takes over, he's never going to create anything new it will always be rooted in the series before. He's never going to create Saiyans or Beerus or the completely different multiple universes, It will be stuff rooted in the series like Freezas son or one of the supreme kais from our universe is still alive or Daburas successor or another android. the successor to the Dragonball franchise should never have been someone who knows every little detail about the series because not even Toriyama himself did.
They said that work on the anime with Toei and games, but nothing about the manga which is just promo and is never even that popular to be honest, most people just watch the anime.
And after this chapter a lot of people don't line the manga now, read Geekdom101 or Rhymestyle comment section on this topic for proof, everybody is shitting on Toyo and the manga for this chapter everywhere and even some forums like that are spanish and japanese are destroying the manga for this garbage chapter.

It is possible they gave Trunks more to do as fan service in the anime. It would make sense as he's very popular and want to capitalize on his popularity even if it does feel like a soulless cash grab.sintzu wrote:That's probably because he didn't do much in Toriyama's outline.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:This is The Future Trunks arc correct? I wonder how Jinzoningen Mule feels about Gogeta's chances right now. Bet he's sweating bullets.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Trunks participating in his own arc is by no means a soul less cash grab. In the manga it seems more of a soul less cash grab because it just seems like he brought the character back for no other reason than to say "look it's future trunks, isn't that cool?".TheMikado wrote:It is possible they gave Trunks more to do as fan service in the anime. I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

From the looks of it, seems Zamasu is pissed because he thought/or probably Black told him that if they team up, the universe would be in their grasps, to do whatever they please, but its not going like that so he's lashing out on Black.
Either he got paranoid over Goku's mafuba or Vegeta and Goku are just far out of their reach now so he's flippin out.

Isn't that exactly what happened though??? I'm pretty sure in an interview Toriyama was asked to include Future Trunks in an arc and it wasn't his idea to begin with, he just did it to oblige whoever asked (I thought it was the producers or editors).kinisking wrote:Trunks participating in his own arc is by no means a soul less cash grab. Without seeing the original outline I can't guess how much Trunks was supposed to be involved, but if it was minimum a la the android arc which is Toriyamas traditional style for the character than it would definitely be a soul less cash grab to exaggerate Trunks involvement just to get the cash dollars flowing while ignoring the creators original intentions.... But who knows without the original outline sitting in front of us.

Wow that does not make sense to me when the Universe 6 arc in the manga said that was a bad idea...unless they either off screen mastered it so that dumb shit doesn't happen no more. Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I’m confused by the explanation for why Vegeta uses Super Saiyan God. So, Goku explains that Vegeta only goes blue the instant he attacks (a similar method Goku used against the Ginyu Force). But, isn’t that the worst thing he could do? If the Hit fight is anything by, turning blue on and off repeatedly should make him lose 90% of his strength.
Plus, there’s no reason for Vegeta to use this method. Goku used this method back then because he was trying to conserve his energy as much as he can, since after he’ll defeat Reacom and company, there’s still the captain and Freeza to face. But here, Vegeta can just turn blue right away and kill Black, no reason to try to conserve your energy.
I hope there’s more explanation there, but so far, it makes no sense, and frankly, it seems like a very contrived excuse just to make the red form relevant.
