Its a joke! Thats not the design for the movie obviously. Its just a recolored design of SSG and UI Goku.

UI was just a recolor of SsjG so at this point it's hard to tell which isn't a joke as that very well could be his design.

This looks pretty fake to me - The hair looks as if it's coloured in MS Paint. However if it is real, Toriyama has seriously declined. Goku looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks.

We just got MUI for one episode so chances are they'll want to push that more and leave a new form for when Super is back on TV. I think Vegeta might get it and the Saiyan villain could get his own special form so that'll be 2 froms they'll have to promote which is more than enough.

Agreed. I really hope they expand on MUI a lot more in the future.
I think the new animation/art style looks really good, though I'm not sure if I prefer this or how it is in Z/Super.

I'm not a fan of it but I think it'd be unfair to give a complete judgement based on a few second trailer. If the story is good and the fighting choreography lives up to what we'd expect from a movie then I can look past the art design, I just hope it doesn't stick around for future series and movies.

I'm predicting he'll combine it with Super Saiyan God and/or Super Saiyan Blue. Or as they would likely call it in games and promotional materials, Ultra Instinct Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Maybe the Ultra Instinct versions of the God forms will be bright, pastel versions of the original, since Ultra Instinct is white.

I see him combining it with regular ssj. Gold hair, silver eyes and the ultra instinct aura inside the ssj aura.

Who knows at this point? Personally, I think with how Toei and staff in Toei have talked about the designs, I think they would transfer over if a new series does happen.

Toei is supposedly supposed to be dropping even more info about the movie at their booth within the next 24-48hrs so be aware.

Man, here I was thinking this movie wouldn't have anything for me and the teaser goes ahead and baits me with one of the easiest things to bait me into wanting to know more about it; and that's Goku having fun.

I can't imagine they'll have the info drop until after 131 airs, but I could be wrong.

Super has never had a consistent art design to even categorize it as something comparable. It just looks like a mash up of low quality BoG models to off-model in-betweens. Z also went up and down in its art as well between arcs. If this movie is consistent we might finally get something to definitively compare. People are hyping up Takahashi but I hope this movie does not use the excessive layers of face-shadows but just enough for the purpose. I want this movie to look as smooth and life-like as possible.

Those are exceptions that require you to cherrypick them as standout frames.

True, Super's animation overall isn't that great, but I don't think its horrible like some people say (I've seen a lot of people on Facebook say the animation is awful).
