The longer the better as it gives them more time to cover everything. If the next gen gaming systems (Ps5 & Xbox whatever) release in the fall of that year then I can see it getting ported over as a launch title.ArchedThunder wrote: Don't count on it coming before January 2020.

You know, if they do include Paikuhan in DLC 8, they could have it to where in the story, if they do the Universe Survival Arc, he competes in the Tournament of Power, replacing either one of the Earthlings or Freeza. I know that would please the What if community and the Paikuhan fans. Though I don't know what would be the point of Baby, other than Bandai pleasing all of the millions of people who requested him.AnimeNation101 wrote:I think we are getting AT LEAST 2 more Extra Packs, each with 4 characters.Dragon Ball Gus wrote:And what about Ribrianne?sintzu wrote:
Simple, if they only have 3-4 characters to use then they'll want to have them be different from one another so having Caulifa, Kale and Kefla will be 3 Saiyans out of the pack or even all of it. XV3 will most likely release in Fall 2019 so what we get now will be the last as it wouldn't make much sense to keep supporting XV2 while trying to market XV3.
If we're getting 2 packs I'd like the 1st to be Baby, Android 19 & Gero. The 2nd being Kefla and Toppo.
Taking into account logic and importance, here’s who i would have:
DLC 7
Caulifla
Kale
Toppo
Dyspo
It wouldn’t make sense to have Kafla before Caulifla and Kale but if they were all in one pack, then that would just be too many saiyans. So have it like dlc 3 and 4 where Black and Zamasu were in DLC 3 and Merged Zamasu was saved for 4.
Toppo and Dyspo are a duo so we might aswell have them together.
DLC 8
Kafla
Ribrianne
SSBEvolution Vegeta or Pikkon
Super Baby Vegeta
Kafla and Ribrianne round out the list of MOST MOST important T.o.P characters. SSBE Vegeta can either be a new character or a transformation which is why Pikkon has just as much a chance to take his spot so he can just be a transformation apart of a new preset for Vegeta. Super Baby Vegeta was more requested than Buuhan so it makes sense to have him.
Caulifla best girl!

No way as that can be used as a big marketing push for XV3.BlueBasilisk wrote:I wonder if we might get a movie promo pack featuring the new Saiyan?

I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie.

Here's the thing, all this means is more characters for XV3. Each character costs money to make and they only have so much money in the budget for a project. If all the DLC comes over just like from 1 to 2 then these characters won't affect the budget of XV3 and the money that would have been used on them for that game can be spent on other characters.Dbzfan94 wrote:I personally dont want any more DLC. I just want Baby Vegeta tbh, but if i had to guess Super characters are going to be priority like always so that means not too many slots left depending on how many packs are going to be.
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
I don't feel adding more DLC characters to XV2 means we'll have them in XV3. Cause they'll just hold them hostage as DLC there too. And I'm tired of seeing that. They already have all the assets from the previous games and titles so it really shouldn't take much to update their models and add them in.
However I'd still they rather focus on Character Story for the CaC's and Races and Transformations for our CaC's. What we've had has been so dull and lackluster and they slapped us with SSB before even giving us SSG. Even the toons in SDBH got SSG. The fact that every other race gets only 1 transformation and has to share Kaioken and Potential Unleashed is rather stupid. Especially given the Majin Purification ruins the player character, Giant Namekian is sadly useless and limited and the Nimbus is so easy to counter that pretty much earthlings, Namekians and Majin are all stuck using either Kaioken with Stamina Builds or Potential Unleashed to perform better.
I really want to see XV3 be more widely expanded upon in these areas. Most people just want more characters and moves. I want moves that actually work. Broly's Gigantic Meteor is just as shit as it was in the 1st game and Pan's Maiden Burst should be a beam attack, not some close range sphere move. Android 16's Hell Flash is almost useless as unless you've staggered your opponent on the ground, the likelihood of hitting anyone with it is laughable.
Not every move has to be good, but they still need to function competently.

Weren't all of the DLC characters from the first Xenoverse, including the preorder/first-press only characters like Jaco and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, available as regular (read: non-paid) unlocks in Xenoverse 2?
I would expect it to go the same way in a third entry.

Yes, that is correct. Bandai isn't EA. They're not going to release the same DLC every sequel. They're going to have all of the characters from XV2, DLC and all, and draw customers to the new game with new characters and features. XV2 DLC just means more characters for the vanilla roster of XV3. (Of course, that won't stop people from complaining incessantly about how the new characters "should have been in the game already.")VegettoEX wrote:I'm confused. Yep, the only way all the DLC characters from XV2 don't make it into 3 is if they decide to completely redo the combat, which I doubt they'll do.VegettoEX wrote:I'm confused. Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
They didn't give us everything and they did change or remove some things from XV2 that were in XV1. But this also goes straight into the age old saying we've had about XV2; That it's just Xenoverse 1.5 and not really a sequel. It really didn't do anything all that different and most of the stages are copy/pasted assets from XV1. The majority of Patrol missions are identical as well and you didn't get to transfer over all your unlocked skills and supers, forcing you to have to grind them all over again. In fact the grind is even worse this time around because of the more recent added systems with Mentors.
If you think about it, this whole thing should've been an expansion pack to XV1 and instead we paid full price for a whole new game. And then Season Passes. Just because they aren't as bad as EA, doesn't mean they didn't take some tips from them. Like shoehorning in a card-game system with the Hero Coliseum and then giving the players the 'choice' to buy TP medals directly from the online store.

Xenoverse 2 also has a much better frame rate, engine improvements, more fighters can be on screen at a time and they polished the gameplay, so it's not something that could just be an expansion to the first game.
