Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Goku could very easily tank an attack that could destroy a galaxy IMO. A universe buster could kill him, maybe, though i'm not too sure after what he's shown recently, obviously it depends on the potency of the attack.Hellspawn28 wrote:Goku could beat pre-power up Superboy Prime, but I consider Superboy Prime after he got power up to be stronger then Goku in my opinion. So far Goku hasn't tank a attack that destroy a whole galaxy or universe.
Goku fought a Beerus that was using more power than when they threatened to destroy the universe and he was fine, and just before the end of the fight Goku punched that energy ball. Also, Goku basically matched a Beerus that could totally nullify a blast that could destroy the universe.
That's absolutely nothing in comparison to punches that can destroy a universe. Pre Crisis would most probably win, but not because of a feat like that, since it wouldn't faze these characters in the slightest, but because of his insane speed.ekrolo2 wrote: Pre-Crisis Superman sneezing annihilated an entire Solar System. Not a punch or kick or energy based attack, a sneeze. I know people like to prop up the Super feat as if its the bastard child of Broly and Fem-Broly but until I see a DBZ guy cause mass destruction with something as casually as a sneeze, they ain't taking Pre-Crisis Superman.

Have you all look at the manga: Whis and Vados one shot Beerus and Champa like nothing.
What would a solar system lvl attack do to people who are nearly universal?
The difference is huge that sneeze wouldn't phase them since they've dealt with more powerful attacks then that

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Goku isn't beating Pre-Crisis Supes regardless, especially if he has the sword of superman.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Popular versions of Superman like Post Crisis or New 52 will get one shotted by current Goku or Beerus, only version of Superman that can beat Goku are Pre Crisis Superman w/ the Sword of Superman and Cosmic Armor Superman,Superman Prime 1 Million is so featless and people just him abilities that he doesnt even shown to have,he is like GT Goku(After absorbing the Dragon Balls)
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Back on topic. In the latest chapter of the Super manga, Beerus and Champa are destroying planet after planet just by missing each other with their physical blows and hitting the planet.
I suppose at this point it's nothing really surprising (especially as was shown possible at the end of BoG) but it should be interesting to see when it's made into the anime.
It seems kind of funny but everyone always made such a big deal of how powerful the DBZ verse always was but these past couple years (and more so since Super started) have made all that look....nothing special.
Destroying planets with physical blows, creating shockwaves that can threaten the Universe, moving much faster than light, watering the plants with a watering can the size of a building etc.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
So it seems like the tier list, give or take a few spots, currently is:
1 - Vados
2 - Whis
3 - Beerus
4 - Champa
5 - Mysterious Fighter
6 - Golden Freeza, at full power
7 - Super Saiyan Blue Goku
8 - Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta
I wonder how Champa's 5 fighters will fit in the middle of there. It will be tough to fit in everybody in that scale Toriyama gave us.

That certainly seems to be hierarchy at the time. But I have a funny feeling the mystery fighter could be on par with Beerus.Doctor. wrote:So it seems like the tier list, give or take a few spots, currently is:

Spoiler:
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Champa doesn't look that great. Beerus wasn't too worried about him, while the former stormed at him furiously.
Did they gave a time from how long has passed since Freeza? I wonder the progress of the Saiyans. Champa called them pushovers, while they were in base using heavy suits.
Piccolo is participating, we don't know if he received a power up. Champa's team might very well be:
1 - SSJ Tier
2 - SSJ 2 Tier
3 - SSJ 3 Tier
4 - SSJG Tier
5 - SSJB Tier(If SSJB is stronger than SSJG)
This would give at least a win for Piccolo and Boo, if they don't get an upgrade.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
I still thinks that the Mysterious U7 fighter is just above SSJG Tier, not SSGSS or Golden Freeza, but that's just me... Who knows.

Seems to fit well, I even accounted for SSB being stronger than SSG!
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Well with the upcoming episode we might get a clearer idea of where SSJB stands compared to SSJG.
Otherwise the above seems accurate.

Narration: “In fact, a little while before this, the terrible emperor Freeza who had previously terrorized the universe came back to life and attacked Earth. However, after meeting Beerus and Whis, Goku and Vegeta received training from Whis, managing to evolve into Super Saiyan Blue, a form surpassing Super Saiyan God. And so they even managed to defeat the revived Freeza!”

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Didn't a magazine (WJ?) stated that SSB Goku surpassed 70% Beerus?
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Much stronger than base Goku & Vegeta. Can't tell if they'll outright state SSG < SSB, but this is Toei so it's almot a given.Bullza wrote:Well with the upcoming episode we might get a clearer idea of where SSJB stands compared to SSJG.

It's funny because apparently their bases are supposed to be almost as strong as their God forms, right? But then why would the Oracle Fish even suggest, that Whis should at least allow them to train in Super Saiyan, if that barely makes them stronger than their base forms now?
No people just extrapolated that from some hype line about this being a battle that surpasses Gods or something like that.Zombie wrote:Didn't a magazine (WJ?) stated that SSB Goku surpassed 70% Beerus?
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Well because the base form was called "Saiyan Beyond God" we kinda figured that they'd absorbed the full power of SSJG and then when they turned Super Saiyan that was SSJB but no apparently that isn't it.
They're as strong as they are in base because of their training with Whis but they don't seem to be anywhere near the same kind of strenght Goku had as a SSJG.
Which does make more sense than the former.
