Well, I haven't played much, but I did unlock Master Roshi. He takes a while to charge his Kamehameha and fairly weak. I have a feeling, lots of fun battles will ensue in the near future =D

Gotta say, I think the new music is actually sounds better than the original music done for the game. Like others, the "new versions" of the original music sound they've on a MIDI file or something. Though, I'll probably end playing with the Japanese voices & the original music to get the "Dragon Ball" feel & experience.

Does anybody know how to tag correctly yet? I've been having to mess with the analog controllers while pressing L1.

According to someone on Gamefaqs:
"L2+R3+L3 to switch out tag memebers, hold L2 and press <-- or --> to change the character to come out (looks at the portrait onscreen)"

That's an awful lot of buttons for a tag.

Yeah I heard that too. I'm sure there is a simpler way to do it. It will wind up like Budokai 1 where It took me forever how to figure out how to charge Ki, only for it to be something super simple.

In the Frieza and Recoome fights, quick tags are a must. This is a whole new ball game. The AI is a thousend times better. They have no problem sneaking up behind you. When before like a moron they would continuously charge at you. Any idea how to unlock Turles and Lord Slug? I played thru both but got nothing for it.

Man, another sucky intro. I prefer the traditional animation openings to the CGI openings. They seem so lifeless in CGI. And whats with that scene with Super Monkey Bebi and Cell just standing there? If you have never seen the series you would think Cell and Bebi were buddies or somthing.

I liked the new intro, it was just the shock of the CG opening that made me not like the intro to the first game. I don't mind they using CG, however having the new animation is definitly better. I hope that they do keep CHA-LA as the opening song, but more then likely they'll change it for our release  .

I actually preferred the original Sparking! opening to this...thing. It was really retarded. At least in the first opening, they fought through the whole thing. Half of this opening was the characters just standing around. The other half was them "fighting". When I mean fighting, I mean flying through the air, and Vegeta, Trunks, and Goku floating shooting ki blasts at them.

Sigh...I miss Toei's animation...Hopefully, the gameplay makes up for the crap we call an opening.

And what's with the random selection of the DBZ cast on the last seconds of the intro? There's too few of them. It would seem logical to have all the Z-Warriors in that scene as drawn on the cover because the current animation we have here, well, contradicts the cover.

Its just odd that with over 100 fighters, they only show 9 in the opening (Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Freeza, Cell, Buu, Android 13, Bebi, and Turlus). Also, Goku fires an Orange Kamehameha... TWICE! Is it Orange in the game?!

I didn't really like that opening. It just didn't make much sense. Especially the scene with Trunks and Vegeta in the RoSaT looking all pissed to be there.

=P But it's ok. I can stand it.

Doubt it. I'm guessing it's orange cause of the aura?

What is the deal with the 3-D intros... are the makers of the game under the impression that most people prefer these over intros like the budokai series? :?

All in all I'd say that intro was the most random one ever, I think they made it all up as they went along.. or something weird.

I mean, I've never known Cell and Bebi to even confront..

They need to make an intro which goes with the storyline, or at least showcases some decent fighting / other scenes. All it is basically is Trunks standing for 5 seconds then powering up randomly whilst Vegeta and Goku join in the background.

Hoping to get the PAL UK Version soon..hoping :)

All criticisms aside, I really like the movie stories in the game. These are just assumptions, but upon watching many videos posted by ppatoc, I found out that they tweaked the movie storylines by a minor degree so that it fits into the main DBZ story. SSJ2 Teen Gohan in a movie 8 fight when Broli comes to Earth were some of the many great touches! No more arguments about how movies don't belong in the storyline! This is like Budokai 3 when Dimps tried to fit Broli and Coola into the story mode. :D

Plus, minor tweaks here and there in the canon stories don't bother at all. It is only weird when they Spike follow the story 100%. (Now, that would be scary!)
