Off-topic, but who's the figure with the sickles on your present-day shelf, Tanooki Kuribo?
Actually, I have no idea. Someone at work gave it to me.
Tanook. I can see why you got rid of the singles and went for the new FUNi releases for the sake of shelf space, but did you really sell your Dragon Box the Movies? Same goes for the DB FUNi singles. Are you that sure that FUNi will re-release them or are you just gonna pick up the Madman re-releases in those fatpacks
Yea I sold my DragonBox The Movies. No real reason other then they were just sitting on my shelf, I never really watched them and even if I did it wasn't as enjoyable to me because there were no subtitles. And yea, I sold the (FUNimation) DragonBall singles cause I really only like the first 13 episodes and the Piccolo saga (why would I sell all of them then? You get more money for a full set. :D )

As someone who owns all of the FUNimation singles, I completely understand the storage space issue, I had to buy a second set of shelves because my Dragonball collection took up 4 of the 5 shelves I originally had for all of my dvds.

Not even close, I got the Z singles for less than I would have paid if I bought the season set releases, thanks to a few people on this very website.

And the price is the main reason I've been getting these singles, darnit. =p

How much are the singles retailed at now anyways? It can't be anywhere near as cheap as the Season sets which round off to about a buck or two per episode. I've blown close to 2 grand on the FUNi singles back in the day. *Sigh Oh dumb twas me.

Oh, silly me. I was thinking you bought them within their original releases, that would have been a very expensive collection since they only stick 3-4 episodes per video.

How about these, fellas?

They were my cousin's who just moved here recently from Japan. They were his until he sold them to 2 members of these very forums. Seriously, they are much more grander in person than the pictures do justice. How I shiver with jealously.

The season sets retail here for $60 a pop, so it wasn't hard to get a better deal buying the singles in bulk online, also quite a few of my singles are second hand (not that you could tell).

Anyway, once some new stuff turns up in the mail, I'll take a photo of my collection.

DaemonCorps wrote:Awesome Vegeta collection, Vegetababe. One question, though: what's that black and white Vegeta thing at the bottom of the second picture? It looks like some kind of CD single cover.

And yeah, such a shame to see your before and after shots of your collection, Tanook. It's always decisions decisions with DVDs... especially when it comes with the DB series :?.

LOL thanks :3 The black and white picture your taking about, its a Vegeta wallet! ;D
