You had no idea how happy I was that the movie was cancelled. Buzz-killer.

Wow...I didn't realize how much I wanted to see a DBZ live-action movie, even one done like this one, until I thought it was canceled. I'm officially gonna have to keep my bitching about the errors under control if I have a heart-attack over a cancellation announcement. :D

I felt the same way the moment I saw it. I wanted to share the feeling.

A little more from Wikipedia on "Los Santos Inocentes", celebrated on December 28th:
This day, people pull practical jokes one to another. It is equivalent to the U.S. version of April Fools Day (April 1). People must not believe anything what other people say, nor let them borrow any amount of money. If any person has fallen victim of the joke, the person pulling the joke will say ¡Inocente palomita...! (equivalent to saying April Fools!).

Oh shush, you.

But seriously, that would have been the last straw on what has already been a horrible day for me. Y'all'd have been hearing about me shooting up a certain movie theater in the paper later this week.

Sorry, Akira Toriyama is not part of the movie. At least he wont be blamed if this movie sucks big time.

Akira wrote DB and DBZ and they turned out awesome. Then TOEI (not Akira) made GT for money and it sucked. Now Fox is making DB the movie for money too and it *might* suck too. (Noticed I said "it might", which means I'm not trashing the movie YET, until I see more pictures and trailers, or until I see the movie itself).

Morale of the story: expanding the story of an already finished story just for money fucks it up.

At least that was proved with GT, lets see what happens with this movie.

I'm not gonna give an opinion yet, but to be honest I never liked the idea of a live action DB movie because I knew it was impossible to really make it. I was like 80% pessimist about this movie, the other 20% was optimism because I thought Akira Toriyama was involved, now my optimism has fallen to like 5% after finding out he isnt part of it. But lets wait in the following months what they make of this movie.

If you're posting about the movie, you are interested and optimistic about it. Don't kid yourself.

If you didn't give a shit, you wouldn't be posting.

You don't have to be optimistic about something to be interested in it. Dragonball is my favorite manga series, my first anime, so I'm obviously going to be interested in how a live action movie adaptation, soon to be released, will look and feel. I can't simply not care, or as you put it, "not give a shit". I'm simply against it, but I don't bash the movie or those who are for it. But when someone tells me to be quiet, like, "be for the movie or don't post here" over something neutral like the movie being discontinued, that's just rude. I didn't come here and say "Haha, you for-live adaptation members, look at the movie now![/jerk]". I was simply putting it out there that I was happy the movie wasn't going to be made, and how I was disappointed when I found out it was going to be continued. If I did come off as one who would bash the movie, sorry, but I have an opinion, too, and if I can't post one time without something negative coming against me...

Eh, with the post above mine kind of explaining stuff...hope this doesn't come off rude or misunderstood.

The first thought that ran through my head when that linked popped up was "thank god, everyone can finally shut the hell up.” Then I realized it was a joke and I had to let out a Homer Simpson “D’oh”.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

I dont know about you guys, but Jet Li could make an awesome job as Vegeta (even their heights fit well). Check him from minute 4:20 in this movie. SPOILER: This is the end scene of "The One": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZQ5RCAjM9g

If they ever make a sequel with Vegeta, Jet Li is a must.

Better quality here, but a little out of sync (1:42 minutes long video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M213TbKqxlU

That movie looks so bad, god why couldn't Stephen Chow direct?

Eh? I'm looking forward to the film, I think it will be good.

However, Stephen Chow should be director...
