He’s the same as GT Trunks. Point is they have a lot of him (also a lot of Goku/Vegeta) So having a proper King Piccolo and Kid Goku is fine too.

That’s a big problem with the preset system as a whole but that’s another story.

Lets be honest. Most dont just want copies or combinations of the potential unleashed or kaioken transformation. The buff form is something any human can obtain since Matser Roshi is a human. They might as well just use that instead of using transformation concepts that are already for all races. Feels like a cop out.

Touching back on this and as already said, pretty much everyone can do the buff form, so it's not something "humans" can do. In act, Roshi was pretty much the only one who could. And that pretty much does have to do with it being closer to how he was in his youth. Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chouzu and other Earthling's have never buffed up like that. It was just Roshi's thing. And then we have Trunks, Freeza, Frost, Goku, Cell, Broly, Bojack, etc etc, who all transform and buff up. So just giving Earthling's a "buff" transformation not only doesn't really fit them as a race, it'd be rather pointless overall.

My concept for Ultimate Kaioken feels more like something Earthling's would do because they lack the biological ability to transform like other races do. Thus needing to focus on evolving their skill and technique in order to overcome this gap in their respective strengths. Kaioken can be taught to anyone, but it was put on the backburner because it became pointless to those who could transform naturally or had ways of upgrading their power, like Namekians. So Earthling's evolving the Kaioken technique is something they would learn to do in order to keep pace with every other race.

When I think of how their transformations would work, I try to make it work in a narrative. Saiyans have transformations so Kaioken and Potential Unleashed aren't really necessary. And the purpose for PU with Gohan was just to allow him to bring out all the power he'd have when transformed without actually needing to do so and take the energy he would've spent on transforming and maintaining that state and adding it to his base power, making him stronger. But since Earthling's don't have transformations, all PU does is bring out their full innate ability. As such, it's never going to be on par with the likes of a Saiyan who can transform and multiply their stats. Thus making Kaioken all that much more of a necessity to Earthlings.

And that's part of their biology as another manifestation of their stretching ability. Heck the only times Piccolo used it was in the 23rd Budokai and in the anime filler with the Garlic Jr. Saga. So it's not like it really had much purpose. But it was tossed in there because it's what was used in Dragon Ball Online.

Frankly it seemed to work better in DBO than in XV2. And yet, the Budokai trailer for DBO still had a better transformation for Namekians with the red-eyes as if indicating Super Namekian.

In all honesty, the Super Namekian or Namekian Fusion state would've been far more preferable to Giant Namekian as it's something any Namekian could achieve. Which became more so apparent in Dragon Ball Super.

Well, it's been about four months since Extra Pack 2 released, right? I guess it depends on how quickly Dimps decided to make more content. If it was right away, we should be due for some news very soon.

They've already announced it so there's no reason to keep us waiting, especially with Bandai most likely wanting to get XV2 out of the way to completely focus on FighterZ. We should find out within the next day or two through leaks.
