Bardock looks great man, terrific job. I'm just curious though, what are those marks that he has on his arms? Is that a texture implementation problem/bug, or something he has and I didn't pay any attention about it? They're not exactly a big deal, but they caught my eye.

Wait, I defeated beerus and whis by spamming my own ki blasts. Finally that took a day to beat it!
Just chillin' with Goku and Vegeta, Kairi, Riku, Mickey, Goofy, and of course Donald Fuckin' Duck.
And swingin' this keyblade called Crystal Snow. Damn, even its own keyblade transformation beats out Krillin's speed. BTW, Blizzard Blades are Goku fast.

As requested, here is Time Breaker Bardock. First WIP version of him. Sadly, we need to research the way the game handles certain things more before I can set up the textures properly for the mask. Once that is possible, I'll update it with a few fixes and release it.

I managed to put a bit of time aside to play some more this weekend, I only have 2 PQ's left to do before I can fight Brawli and finish up the game - unfortunately they're Super Saiyan Bargain Sale and Ultimate Super Battle or whatever it's called, both which I've tried once and died in the final stage due to Goku, Gohan and Goten Kamehamespam.
Apparently the GT DLC drops Tuesday for Europe? So at least I'll have some new stuff to do whilst procrastinating over those two awful battles. I'm a level 70 Namek, so it shouldn't be such a pain in the arse...

I'm 99.9% sure you can get the DLC whenever. With every game I've ever played that has DLC you can get it whenever, whether it be day one or a year later.sangofe wrote:Do you guys know if you don't get the dlc right away, if you can get it later?Blade wrote:I managed to put a bit of time aside to play some more this weekend, I only have 2 PQ's left to do before I can fight Brawli and finish up the game - unfortunately they're Super Saiyan Bargain Sale and Ultimate Super Battle or whatever it's called, both which I've tried once and died in the final stage due to Goku, Gohan and Goten Kamehamespam.

I can't see why not. They want your money at the end of the day, so I can't imagine them doing something to prevent potential future sales.sangofe wrote:Do you guys know if you don't get the dlc right away, if you can get it later?Blade wrote:I managed to put a bit of time aside to play some more this weekend, I only have 2 PQ's left to do before I can fight Brawli and finish up the game - unfortunately they're Super Saiyan Bargain Sale and Ultimate Super Battle or whatever it's called, both which I've tried once and died in the final stage due to Goku, Gohan and Goten Kamehamespam.

Blade - once you get the DLC, get Tenshinhan as your master. If you complete his training and spar with him after, you get a z-soul that nullifies Kamehameha attacks against you. Should make bargain sale easier.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Damn, I wanted to resist, but looks like I'll have to get that DLC! Damn, the DLC is more expensive than the Batman ones, LOL.Saiga wrote:Blade - once you get the DLC, get Tenshinhan as your master. That was difficult? How about getting Vegetto's and Great Saiyaman gear. Bardock gear is really easy to get by comparison.supersaiyan DbZ fan wrote:Getting the Bardock chest piece was sooo fuckin difficultEA575 wrote:Wow, that looks pretty good. Oh my God you have no idea. I've been grinding for 3 days getting the Saiyaman gear and I've only got 3 of the 4 Pieces.Captain Space wrote:Ah, really? Damn, I was looking forwards to getting the Great Saiyaman stuff...
First you have to get Evil Freeza and Cell to appear (coin flip 1)
Next they have to actually drop an item (which they won't tell you till you get to the results screen) (coin flip 2)
And finally if they actually drop something you get a 1 in 4 chance of getting what you want. The whole thing takes around 10 minutes and most of the time you get F***ing nothing.
It's absolutely ridiculous.
For Bardock gear all you gotta do is beat Great Ape Bardock (takes about 40 seconds to get to and beat him) the moment he hits the ground you instantly know if he's dropped something or not, if he doesn't you can just reset and try again.

This system is even worse than was the Capsule lottery in Budokai 1.
Jesus Christ. Tough I must applaud for the battle movement. I was pissed at first, that you can't target the enemy as well as in Sparking! series, but now I've got the hand on it
and I appreciate how more freestyle I can be, with moving fast, dodge and do some air acrobacy. Also thos sommersaults are great.
I am not a great player yet, but I was trying the video recording on PS4 and uploaded my test fight with Freeza in Battle Mode:
As I will get better, I will love to engage someone
This is my third playtrough.

Oh no it's an absolute joy. I love doing the same mission over and over and over again and getting absolutely nothing for it, for an outfit that doesn't even have great stats.Captain Space wrote:Huh. That must be quite infuriating.
I wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem with it if there wasn't RNG on parallel quest ultimate finishes. If I could consistently get Evil Freeza and Cell to appear when I do EVERYTHING RIGHT!!! Then it wouldn't be nearly as stressful.

I'm still having the same problem as before; trainers not appearing. First it was Freeza. Took me more than a week before he'd show up so I could learn from him. Now it's Beerus. Long since beaten the game and finished Goku training almost a week ago. I have 4 Lv80 characters currently and yet Beerus refuses to show up. I'll get Ginyu 3 times in a row, then Krillin another 3 times, then Ginyu again, before Vegeta and Gotenks show up to trade places. Beerus hasn't made one appearance for me at all since I've met the conditions. I spent several hours either doing short PQ's or just doing the char-select screen and dropping out to randomize the trainers again with no luck.
I cannot get over how spiteful the RNG system is for this kind of thing. If they can't give fixed positions for them in the Hub City, then at least spawn 3 of them at a time so there's a higher probability of the one we need showing up. It's literally a 1-in-12 chance of him showing. That's like 8.4% or something. Even randomizing the area dozens of times has gotten me nowhere. I had better odds of auto-killing someone in Skyrim with Mehrunes Razor that only has a 1.24% chance of insta-kills.
I can slightly understand the RNG for item drops, but with trainers it's far more aggravating.
