Doesn't Hildagaan lose power when his tail is cut off? (or just gets really hurt from it?) Kuririn could throw out a Kienzan.

Kuririn seems pretty screwed. Maybe he could try the mafuba?

So I've been wondering about this Kaio-ken naming scheme. They had Videl do something similar with saying "next level" rather than using the multiplier names. At first I thought Salagir was just trying to avoid giving us concrete numbers but now I'm wondering if he might be doing it because he believes the naming scheme came from Goku. So without Goku in Universe 9, a different naming scheme was given to it by whoever mastered it first.

To me, it looks like the angry eye type art style we see in the anime, and that's a good thing. I disagree on Gogeta Jr's as more Toriyama like. He could not draw Vegeta to save his life.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

I'm sure Tapion will have a trick up his sleeve to avoid Kuririn's attacks besides the fact it'll be hard to get past Hildegarn.

I'm thinking Tapion will have something else up his sleeve too, but I'm still crossing my fingers for Kuririn to pull a win here somehow.

So far my prediction is right that Tapion is the weak link and Krillin will go after him. My next prediction is that Solar flare will be used to blind Tapion (either causing him to lose focus, or Hildegarn will be blinded as well) and then Krillin will win the match with his next move.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

That could work. But I'm wondering didn't Raichi have some sort of super strong shield? And if so I wonder if he gave one to Tapion which could make the fight even harder for Krillin.

Okay, I have another reason I'm really hoping Kuririn somehow wins now. Tapion is just gonna stand there and do nothing and win this fight? That's just...boring. I'd have liked it better if he just channeled Hirudegarn's power from within and made it his own, kind of like Naruto using Fox mode, instead of him using Hirudegarn as a summon...or Pokemon...or what have you.

Well, that makes perfect sense. He's not a fighter, and the weak link, so he should stay back and let Hildegaan handle it. He's not their for sport, but to get his wish. I like it.

He can somewhat use the monster's energy as his own, which is why he can resist the high gravity. However, he probably can only use a tiny fraction of the monster power that way. Using it all is way too much for him to handle, way past his limits, which is why he has to send the monster out.

Maybe...that does make sense, but at the same time it still doesn't leave me liking Tapion very much. Him winning will feel like such a cop-out to me since he's not even doing anything himself.

Ack! What happened to my gloriously hot re-designed Videl from her last appearance in this fan comic?! ...Did I just say that out loud?

I think Kuririn is about to use the same technique he used to kill the Saibamen. Which is why Videl calls Yamcha a moron (for not realizing that Kuririn missed on purpose).
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I thought it might've been the Mafuba, but it doesn't make sense that he'd kill himself to hinder Tapion. :P

^ Or that, yeah.

I think he's just aiming for Tapion, yeah. Though he may end up pulling the Saibamen trick to make it hit him, cuz surely Tapion's not so stupid as to just stand there and get hit...you would think anyway.

I actually didn't think of the mafuba for some reason, huh. Though he doesn't really have anything set out to seal Tapion into, so I doubt it's that. :P
