I think this whole tournament is a ruse. Champa probably intentionally lost the eating contest to start this tournament. The main reason is to trick Beerus into occupying the the strong people from u7 with a tournament so that they can blow up earth without interference.

Think about it for some unknown reason they were in u7 destroying planets looking for something and then we get no follow up on that? That wouldnt make any sense. Chances are whatever they were looking is in earth. Once champ learned this they probably found out about whis favoring the planet and their food as well as it being beerus turf who decided not to destroy it. This u7 tournamet is the prelude to something big like in the previous manga arcs.

Honestly, that whole villain wanting to destroy the Earth thing is getting quite boring. We've already seen Earth be wiped out two times, it doesn't feel like a very big deal anymore.

Probably the tournament is just a big excuse for Champa and Vados to look for Super DBs without Whis and Beerus noticing.
Maybe Earth and New Namek will be destroyed while they look for Super DBs and so Goku and co will have to collect Super DBs to wish both planets and their inhabitants back.

If one of the Super Dragon Balls is hidden inside Earth, he would have a reason to do so. That's what Champa is after, he's not mindlessly destroying planets.
The problem with that theory is that we've seen it destroyed a few times and nothing was revealed, so..

Maybe Champa collected the 7 SDBs already and has another thing in mind that has nothing to do with Earth, but with Beerus instead, like changing universes with him. The planet can be just a convenient excuse for the tournament, as Champa seemed to be actually speaking the truth when he didn't know about Earth's existence, i doubt he had it in mind as a goal beforehand.

If Champa's wish is something stupid though, why would he need to trick Beerus or arrange a tournament? Remember he was also worried about avoiding Beerus' attention. No one would bother him if he just wants to lose weight or something.

Plus he can just use the normal dbs for that.

I think the Dragon Balls will play a part in a possible invasion, to/from our pair of twin universes. They'll went out of their way to mention how each Universe has a twin. So maybe you can only travel between twins freely. For the others it's needed a special method.

My theory's are:
Champa wants to invade some other Universe and is checking Beerus fighters, while trying to convince him to join.

Some other Universe wants to invade both ours and Universe 6, to grab the Dragon Balls which only exist here.

There needs to be another 16 man tournament involving all 12 Gods of Destruction, Whis, Vados, Goku and Vegeta.

Judging from Twitter activity, some people in Japan just get the magazine early; whether it be a shop putting it up before the intended release, or the postal service delivering it a bit ahead of schedule for their subscription. I wouldn't be surprised if the traditional text leaks still happen, completely independant of the leak/arrest situation. It's just a matter of who gets the magazine and if they want to go through the effort when they do.

V-Jump I can assure you runs by one delivery man sending them early. The chinese group that leak the manga pages, the people who leak the script on twitter they all had the same delivery man and provider (especially since from what I heard he was connected to many stores helping them get the magazines before street date). Not saying leaks are gone for good but you can definitely say goodbye to V-Jump leaks for awhile. Like I know about the situation this arrest messed up a lot of people who leak V-Jump/Weekly Shonen Jump. They cut off the snakes head, I can't say too much besides that hopefully you just take my word for it.

Well I dont care, the point is its still going to get leaked.

Lol, that's actually an interesting angle and the relationship between the Kaioshin and Hakaishin can be delved into more.

Only if it was done accidentally, and Vados wasn't around to rewind time (assuming she can, btw).

Gods of Destruction also have to respect some rules, and one of them is that they can't kill Kaioshins. Even when Old Kaioshin pissed Beerus off, he didn't kill him, only locked him in the Z Sword.

I hope they didnt kill kaioshins because that would be stupid and there would literally be nothing separating gods of destructions from buu, who existed at the begining of time did nothing but destroy and then slumbered just like beerus.

I'd keep an eye on ANN and Crunchyroll's news feeds. Once unrelated VJump news starts popping up there (usually Yugioh stuff) then it'll be close.

I still think the news will end up breaking late though, what with the whole Panda thing. Technically I'm not sure if ANN posting VJump scans before the street date is legal either, but they do it.

The legality isn't in WHEN they do it, but rather that they do it at all. Technically speaking, none of us - even news sites - really have the legal right to reproduce copyrighted works like that in any way, regardless of the image size and quality we do it at. There's some degree of American rights via "freedom of the press" that ANN could likely point toward, but it definitely at that point could go deeper into their actual source for the material (if they're paying for it ahead of time via these established pirate channels vs. just having a good inside source).

We at Kanzenshuu would probably have a hard time falling back on freedom of the press because we publicly state that we're a fansite and we're not a business. It probably doesn't matter that we follow basic journalistic standards, though I guess that couldn't hurt us.
