I can't believe they haven't added Paragus. I think he'd go well with Broly, and would bring life to the in-game[?] "Broly Saga".

Yes, I know about that trick, I found it out a long time ago. As already stated. Tenshinhan in that game to Tenshinhan in the manga is a lame comparison. He should be more fun to play as. That's what I'm saying.

If I had to guess, I'd say they're basing it solely on what is seen in the DBZ anime and ignoring all of the awesome stuff that he could use. Which strikes me as odd since Yamcha's ultimates were all out of Dragon Ball... though I guess they didn't really have a choice with him.

Tien is expendable when you got all the hella powerful saiya-jin characters. His minor techniques dont matter against Cell and such even though they were cool.

Kikoho is what really stood out.

Maybe it's because I haven't slept in so long, but I have no idea who that is.

It was implied that Lao had a history with DB characters, but it's left very very vague... it could be fun to expand on that in the game, but given the focus of the designers on big explosions and super huge violence, I would be pleasantly shocked if Lao was included. Though he is in the Cell Saga... ^^.

I don't really like Hyper_blaze's analysis of Tenshinhan's fate in the games, but darn it... he's probably right. :(.

No, Yamcha used his moves again during Z. It was filler, but they happened. Where as Tien... didn't. Other than two he was given in the games everything else was pretty much one time only use.

Well, after playing the demo at Comic-Con, I can say 2 things. First, the game plays exactly like Sparking! Neo. To me, it seemed like there were some differences from the first and second game. This, on the other hand, was a carbon copy with a few new characters. Second, the dub acting sucked. When using SSJ Goku, Angry Kamehameha is his UB now, and the "Darn You!" that Schemmel did was very sub par. There was also a lot about "sending you to the next world" said in the game which made me gag. Can they not even refer to death in the game?

Did you play the PS2 version or the Wii version? From what I've heard the controls & overall feel for the Wii version is definitely different. The Online Play also gives me more incentive for a purchase.

They only had the PS2 version. It's possible that the Wii version is more unique, but I never played NEO on the Wii, so I wouldn't know how to compare anyway.

So... did it had any of the newly revealed characters? Or was it the same demo we've seen footage before?

Nope. Sadly, it was the same demo with the same characters.

Great... Could you roughly describe the special attacks for Goku and Piccolo?

Well, I never played as or against Piccolo, so I have no clue except that he has his earlier attack set (Pre-Cell arc). Goku has a normal Kamehameha and 20x Kaio-Ken Kamehameha as his B2s. I never saw his UB because I transformed into SSJ and used those attacks, which were a normal Kamehameha, that rush he had in Neo, and Angry Kamehameha as his UB.

Sounds nice... Goku's ultimate is probably the spirit bomb he sent against Freeza.

Oh yeah! Duh, now I remember seeing someone else use it. I have a crappy memory sometimes. The difference is that you don't need to charge the attack like you had to in the last game.

So let me get this right.

Mid Goku (Base)
L2+Triangle = Kamehameha
L2+up+Triangle = 20xKamehameha
L2+down+Triangle = Spirit Bomb

Mid Goku (SSJ)
L2+Triangle = Kamehameha
L2+up+Triangle = Exact rush from NEO
L2+down+Triangle = Angry Kamehameha

Question, Is the angry Kamehameha a kind of combo leading into the attack or just a blast?

Also what happened to the Combo used against Piccolo? That was on the demo right?
