He did. Oob unleashed his power when he got mad, and went full power when he threw the Kiai on Goku (D7 stated that he raised his power by throwing the Kiai). Oob was strong, but he could get that strong only when he was mad, and on top of that, he didn't even know how to fight. He had no idea about ki. So, while Oob met Goku's expectations about his power (he was as strong as Pure Boo), Goku had to train him first, to teach him how to control his power, and how to use ki. So that in the end, they could have an awesome fight together.

Kid Buu full power should be able to easily one shot someone 400x weaker than him. The kiai should have blown Goku apart.

I know right @Alakazam, BoG doesn't even imply anything in GT might have happened yet some people are willing to bend what has been stated previously to fit in with it. I don't care if GT follows it, but IMO it can't at the moment.

Anyway, I love the picture where Vegeta and Bulma both have their arms folded, I wonder if that was meant to be like that, or it just happened and nobody even noticed.

A Kiai is like a powerful blast that emulates the force of something like a punch or kick, only invisible through the use of ki. Using a full powered kiai on someone 400x weaker than you would probably blow them apart, or at least snap his neck or something =/.

Anyways come on, you are clearly looking at things to fit your own interpretation, as I have already stated, and I'm looking at my things to fit my own interpretation, as I have stated. Why can't you let it go lol.

It's a force. You can't tell me you would expect to live after being hit with, say 40000 pounds of force. (assuming you can only give out 100 pounds of force)

As of the 14th Battle of Gods has made $23.6 million or 2.32 billion Yen in total. It made $2.45 million or 241 million Yen for the weekend.

It's a pretty hefty drop from last weekend but it's ok because last weekend it held up really well. Though it seems it's because all the kids are back in school now. It's sixth and final week should be Golden Week where it may see an increase over the previous week.

Do you think that means that GT is part of the official timeline now, despite:
(1) the Pilaf Gang turning chibi in the movie and being really old in GT
(2) Gohan being able to use his full power without needing to go Super Saiyan due to Elder Kai in the movie but no longer having his full potential unlocked in GT and still going Super Saiyan?

Now, I vaguely recall some interview I thought I read on this website that Toriyama tried to explain the initial postings of Gohan for Battle of Gods as a Super Saiyan because Gohan stopped training, but I could be wrong.

(3) After Battle of Gods, GT seems irreconcilable given the fact Goku’s family would know that in the presence of 5 pure hearted Saiyans Goku could go Super Saiyan God and when Vegeta shows up during Goku’s battle with Omega Shenron they have the requisite number [Pan, Trunks, Goten, Gohan were already there] and do not do that. Now, I know the new movie was obviously conceived of and written long after GT but that’s the point it does not succinctly fit in if GT is not supposed to be a cross dimensional “what if scenario” like how Toriyam view the other movies.
