Seeing as Goku and Vegeta have tails now, it would make sense for Vegito to have one.

Never really noticed... I know Vegeta didn't grow one, but I thought Goku kept his under his belt or something.
He cut it off again!?
Wasn't supposed to help maintain his SSj transformations and give him the ability to become a SSj4 with no help?
Which reminds me... how did Vegeta go SSj4 in the Rigor Saga the first time?... :/

Its a matter of creative interpretation. When I originally wrote DBNA, I had a limited understanding of SSJ4. When I devised the new drafts, I decided I just didn't want the tail on the characters.

It was described in Chapter Zero, Vegeta trained to be able to use SSJ4 without the need for a Zeno Radiation (Blutz Radiation) Generator

SSJ4 looks cooler with the tail IMHO.
Also, it kinda makes no sense, Vegeta trained to emit Blutz waves from his body? :lol:
How can he transform naturally without a tail? :eh:

As I said, its just a matter of creative interpretation.

And though I never specified it in my rewrites, what if Goku DIDN'T need his tail to become a SSJ4? What if, being on Planet Plant, the Earth acting as an abnormally large moon flooded Goku's body with unusually high amounts of Blutz radiation, triggering the transformation like it did in Vegeta when using a Blutz Radiation Generator, and the tail is just part of the transformation? What if, even through the artifical means Vegeta obtained the transformation, that he was able to control it normally, or he just had to work harder to control it than Goku did?

Here's all the multipliers I use for DBNA (thanks MightyOozaru for giving some solid numbers)

Power Multipliers (for DBNA)
Oozaru: 10x base
Kaio-ken: This technique increases the users power level based on the number of times it is stacked. Standard Kaio-ken will raise the user's power level by 1.5x. Maxes out at 3x for humans, and 20x for Saiyans.
False SSJ: 25x base
SSJ: 50x base. In Rigor's case, this multiplier is 55x base.
Ascended SSJ: 1.5x SSJ
Ultra SSJ: 2x SSJ, this form is incredibly slow so it is impractical in battle.
Trained SSJ: 10x base, this form is achieved after training yourself to maintain the SSJ form as if it were your base form.
Full Power SSJ: 5x TSSJ.
SSJ2: 2x SSJ or FPSSJ/100x base. In Rigor's case, this multiplier is 110x base.
SSJ3: 4x SSJ2/400x base. In Rigor's case, this multiplier is 440x base.
SSJ God: 500,000x base
Golden Oozaru: 500x base
SSJ4: 10 x SSJ3/ 4,000x base. In Rigor's case, this multiplier is 4,400x base.
Ascended SSJ4: 2 x SSJ4/ 8,000x base. In only Rigor's case, this multiplier is 8,800x base.
True SSJ4: 3 x ASSJ4/ 24,000x base. In only Rigor's case, this multiplier is 26,400x base.
SSJ5: 15 x TSSJ4/ 360,000x base (during the first time transformed). After being obtained, the user's TSSJ4 power becomes their base strength, and the multiplier becomes 15x base. In only Rigor's case, this multiplier was 396,000x base at first, and his chi begins to dramatically increase the longer he remains in the form.
Spirit Burst: 50x the user's Power level. In Kuririn's case, he calls this his "Super Human" mode.
Fusion Dance: Both power levels must be equal. A + B x 5. If the fusees are rivals: A + B x 50
Potara Earring fusion: A x 100. Divide the multiplier by the difference in power levels. If the fusees are rivals: A x 1,000
