It's like when you have to cite your sources in school reports, or in journalism in general. You need to get permission from your sources to use them.

As far as spoilers, I'm almost certain it's going to be today. Photos of pieces of pages on Yugioh in this month's VJump just popped up on twitter.

Quite right - when referencing and citing something, the word-for-word reproduction of a small passage of text is permissible when quoted within the scope of another body of work and not re-sold or outright passed off as your own.

The copying of whole sections, however, is a no-no - and the scanning and distribution of published material is out of the question.

You know I'm kinda surprised that this whole time I haven't seen anyone on here or elsewhere complain about this ripping off Dragon Ball Multiverse.

I'm not saying thay it did but considering all the complaints about "Toriyama running out of ideas" leading to reusing Frieza, palette swaps for new forms and then a fat Beerus I thought for sure I'd see people complaining about this Universe 6 tournament being some kind of ripoff of that DBM manga.

I stopped reading DBM a long time ago (I lost interest. ^^; ) Super's at least differentiating itself by (what I recall about DBM) there being only one "mirror" universe, and by there not even being any humans left on Uni 6 Earth. It'll throw things even farther off of DBM's trail if everyone on Team Champa are just brand-new from-scratch characters rather than any of them being the mirror to a current DB cast member. (Though I guess by doing that it'd also be kind of "What's the point in picking the one mirror universe and then not letting the readers see any counterparts? Why not just pick any of the other 10 universes that aren't mirrors to Uni 7 then?).

I still wonder who they are going to pick and maybe they'll pick Gohan after all, because let's face it, what are the alternatives?
Surely this must mean the return of Piccolo, as he is one of Toriyama's favourites??

It's such a shame to see the story's original author treat his characters like this especially someone like Gohan who was very important in Z.

Whis and Beerus participating in the tournament as fighters is a let down for me. I'd prefer them just to be on the sidelines as teachers and then give 3 other Z-Fighters the opportunity to be useful. So now we're back to Goku + Vegeta going to U6 with one more fighter that probably isn't even going to be Gohan. At least let it be Piccolo then, he deserves it. Don't bring along the annoying kids.

Since Whis and Beerus are joining, Champa and Vados will join too which means we also only get 3 new U6 fighters introduced instead of 5.
