New to me, but I can't read most of it. I see it says Hugh Jackman for Vegeta, which makes me suspect it's fake, cuz that was a rumor from about a year or so ago that he was cast as either Goku or Vegeta and delayed production so bad they had to start over.

"Originally", or should I say, "according to BS sites from the past", Hugh Jackman was supposed to play Goku...and Jet Li was supposed to play Vegeta...and Goldberg was supposed to play Nappa...and Jessica Alba was supposed to play Bulma. If Jessica Alba was supposed to play Bulma, I'd watch the movie just for her lol Especially if there was a scene where Goku takes off her panties and she flashes Master Roshi. I'd watch that...and I'd enjoy! lol Can't say I enjoyed the animated version...I guess it was slightly amusing and funny, but in live action, hellz yeah!

Here's how you know it's fake though, because it's a Dragon Ball movie, so there's no Vegeta.

Prolly a joke. Like April´s fool joke. Here in Venezuela today December 28 is the day of the jokes, like April´s fools joke in the USA. So probably in Brazil is the same like here.

Damn, so you guys have Christmas, joke day, and then New Years? Awesome! Unless you have a different Christmas. I know Russia has Christmas in like the middle/end of January.

And dude, I paid $10 to watch Into the Blue just to watch Jessica Alba swimming around in a wet bikini, cuz I gotta tell you, that movie wasn't all too great, still saw it! lol Hottest chick on the planet.

lol Nice. You guys are lucky with the holidays. I'm lucky because my birthday is in January, so it's like the jolliest 2 months of the year.

By the way, if Jessica Alba was playing Bulma, or ChiChi, or ANYBODY, I'd watch the movie just for that. I don't think I'd...well I know I wouldn't watch it in theaters. I'd watch it when it came out on Cinemax, SHOwtime, or HBO just to check it out, but not wasting money on it. If Jessica Alba was confirmed, I'd watch it first damn day! lol I wouldn't care who she plays. I wouldn't care if she'd play Goku.

Jessica Alba is indeed one of the few celebrities I find attractive, but what's more, I enjoy her acting skills and personality. She could play almost any female in the DB series. And she's got the fighting skills from Dark Angel. But then again, she's pregnant now, so that'd be a little hard to do.

It may be sad but I edit my posts(grammar correction) few times usually, I can do better of course, but it does not mean that I don't put effort at all.

Jessica Alba is hot, AND a good actress. I wouldn't mind her in the movie.

Anyway, latest news is that Marsters is undergoing diet and training of some sort, and Chow Yun Fat is reading the manga to study up for Roshi.

I'm starting to think this movie might not be completely terrible after all. Most of the stuff we've heard recently hasn't sounded that bad, and having an actor who actually KNOWS his own character can't possibly be a bad thing. Maybe I'll watch the movie when it comes out after all.

I have to say I'm amused he agreed to perform as Roshi before learning about him (I wonder if he'll be surprised reading the manga) but I am glad he's reading up on it.

For crying out loud, unless you READ THE SCRIPT how do you know how far off it is from the manga?

Oh, because Goku is in high school? Wow, one bit of detail. Of course there will be characters added FOR HIGH SCHOOL. Goku isn't going to go to school by himself with no one else in the building.

The whole high school aspect distorts many points in the story and affects Goku's character... I don't mind small liberties like in Spider-man, or abridgement like in X-men. Hell, even Transformers was tastefully done in my opinion. But it seems like they're taking too many liberties with this.

What's wrong with Goku being out on the mountains and found by Bulma and THEN having the Piccolo arc take place? That would be fine. But they're changing this too much.

LoL I cant imagine Chow Yun Fat touching girl´s butts and being a perverted old man like Roshi. Haha I know that part of his personality will be taken out, but its still funny thinking about it.

Morale of the story: expanding the story of an already finished story just for money fucks it up.

Everything from Trunks to Kid Buu was done just for the money~

Constant off-topic is a no-no here. Though with threads more than three pages it's unavoidable. Caps lock, however, should be used very sparingly. Use italics or bold to emphasize things.

Haha. For some reason I'm picturing him sitting there and thinking: "What the hell have I gotten myself into?" XD Though it's great to know he's reading up on the character.

And sounds like Marsters is getting ready for some action scenes or something. Dieting to get him to the right body size and the training is likely for a combat sequence. We already know he can do those from his time on Buffy and Angel so it's probably choreography for a fight sequence. Maybe the fight with Roshi?

I'm just wondering if they're still going to have the Namek's be green. Nameks are one of the easier races to make for a live action... if they don't give him at least green skin and antannae I worry what future aliens will look like.

Relax a little. He started that off with "But if" so he could have simply been saying if the character is vastly different it wouldn't really help. But I think if they've not told him it wont help to read up on him that Roshi's still basically the same. Not that I wouldn't expect everyone to be basically the same.

It's a location, nothing more. It doesn't distort any points or affect Goku's character at all. He goes to school now, yes, but that doesn't mean his some super nerd chess club champion or anything. It just means he goes to school. I knew plenty of kids dumber than Goku while I was in school.

It was done by Toriyama also...so that automatically means that it have that DBZ spirit, not just desire for money, just like this movie only have.
