Good lord. They need to get a better translator for English. "Been then, done that."

I don't think it was a poor translation. With all the Time Travel associated with Cell, I think it was a joke.

Nope. The original:

Dabura: "Did he just kill himself?"
Cell: "I already did that/I already have."

Translation:
Dabura: "He killed himself?"
Cell: "Been then, done that."

Most likely the English version changed the translation to "Been there, done that" and made a typo in the process. My guess is Cell is refering to his self-destruct in the Cell Games.

EDIT: Here's a page full of random colours. The creators of DBM have also contributed. Seems Kat looks good in colour.

Good lord, The alien mom/dad/??? is even more hideous in color.

I forgot about the update this Wednesday and the new page brought up a question I always wondered about. Man, I hope this doesn't sound stupid but can a decapitated head talk? I've seen this scenario in so many horror movies, tv shows, and comic books I've never thought much of it.

I know once a head is suddenly removed from the body in real life your brain well go through shock. Eyes blink, lips moves, etc. But now that I think about it, they can't talk even if they had they ability to regenerate like Cell or Deadpool. Don't you need a lung for that?

I hope this doesn't gross anyone out but I had to cut a head off a chicken once. My grandmother taught me how to make a roast chicken from scratch. I had to do it fast and hit it hard enough to hack off the head in one "wack." The beak opened and close but it didn't "cluck" or anything.

I'm jumping little off topic here, sorry.

A severed head cant talk.

Talking implies air pushed through your vocal cords by your lungs. Something you can`t do if you don`t have any lungs.

Then again, maybe Cell doesn`t need to breathe because he can survive in space like freeza. So he might not have lungs to begin with.

Oh really? I could translate into English from that, as I'm half French.

Does that even matter? Guldo was also talking with a severed head. I don't think Toriyama knew nor cared about how physically impossible it is.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Well, Gurd was a mutant alien; perhaps his race didn't even need their lungs to talk, or he could have had completely different internal organ system, or he could have just not had any lungs at all.

But yeah, Toriyama doesn't know or care in the slightest.

Well, I don't feel confident enough to edit in English, as it's my third language, but I could give translating a shot.

At the risk of sounding arrogant: I agree! :D

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind. Anybody know where I'd sign up?

EDIT: Wait, what do they mean by "editors?" To fill the bubbles and sound effects, or to edit the English text?

THANK GOD.

Is it just me, or is the English translation worse than usual? @_@
