Mira and Towa will be playable in Dragon Ball Xenoverse thanks to the Dragon Ball GT Pack 2 DLC!
The release date of the second DLC is yet to be announced but we already have the full content to help you being patient.

Dragon Ball GT Pack 2 DLC will include:
• Mira, Towa, Eis Shenron and Nuova Shenron as playable characters
• 3 Time Patrol Quests
• 3 Parallel Quests
• Pan GT as a Master and her 5 Master quests
• 6 full costumes from Pan, Gogeta, Super 17, Mira and Towa.
• 24 signature moves from Pan, Mira, Towa, Eis Shenron and Nuova Shenron
• 6 new Z-Souls:
•• Eis Shenron's Z soul - I'm doing fine.
•• Nuova Shenron's Z soul - That's how I fight!
•• Pan's Z soul (Master) 1 - This is my best move!

So it looks like we'll get eventually everything, except for SSJ4 Vegeta. I saw him in screenshot doing fusion dance with Goku, which was probably in DLC Story cutscene,
but with pack 2 confirmed, I am losing hope.

I tested it and It indeed does regen faster. Here's the results

without the Z-soul
The 1st bar fills up at 2:52
2nd bar = 2:45
3rd bar = 2:38
About every 7 seconds are bar is filled

With the Z soul
1st bar = 2:54
2nd bar = 2:48
3rd bar = 2:43
About every 5-6 seconds a bar is filled

Also I did not hit,get hit,or charged my ki for this all I did was let my ki regen itself.

it turns out the wormhole isn't really left-over magic from Demigra, it's Towa and Mira up to no good again already? Or maybe they take advantage of it for their own ends? I mean, I'd like to think they'd be smarter (as characters) to hold off longer than that before trying to stir up more trouble (and that the staff would save them for reappearing in a sequel), but anything is possible.

Search under open rooms in Online Parallel Quests. Keep trying and you'll get it eventually.

I finely beat this! with help from people online lol me by myself just wasn't cutting it lol now I'm fighting a single player mission trying to keep Bardock alive. the dude keeps dying on me

If we are talking about Bardock, I have one question about the story (Broly saga).

Why Demigra has sent him with Broly to Namek? I understand that he wanted use Broly to kill Goku, but why Bardock?

I feel as though it was a plan to start Broli rampaging across Name. Bardock looks like Goku, so I'm thinking the hope was either that Broli would start fighting Bardock and encounter Goku (and Freeza) in the process, or that the battle would just lead to Broli blowing up the whole planet.
