I don't see where you get that notion, there's nothing wrong with DBZ actually NOT having the insanely inflated levels people thought were there.

Well that's your problem then. The anime has even more inconsistencies than the manga. Do you follow the logic that SSJ Goku >> Ultimate Gohan? Lol. (shown in the anime inside Buu)

Yes, Goku can beat Freeza in base form... in GT. Which also had base Goku defeating Cell, and fighting on par with someone who was stronger than Boo.

Even if you believe this, remember that GT is set years after BOG. That's more than enough time for Goku to get stronger.

Your talking about Goku and Vegeta fighting Buu in his head right? It hasn't a fair fight, plus how does show SS Goku is equal to UG?

For me DB/Z/GT movies and specials are all important to consider. The guide books say UG is super strong but at the end of the day Goku beat Buu not Gohan.

When Goku was fighting UG inside of Buu in SSJ and putting up a fight/winning. Where does it vaguely hint? Vegeta went from scared of his power increasing to mocking his height, that's a power drop to me. Goku states Evil Buu >>> Goku + Vegeta combined, then says Kid Buu < himself. That says Evil Buu > Kid Buu to me.

Right, and Vegeta in base even manages to knock down SSJ3 Gotenks. That's how it's pretty hard to use the anime in strength debates. Then again as you said in the other thread official timelines are whack...

And if you're going to do that with all of Toei's goof's with inconsistencies and powers, you're gonna have a looooong day ahead of you. How did SSJ2 Goku do better than SSJ2 Vegeta when the two were stated to be at equal strengths in equal forms? How is Gohan stronger than Evil Buu but Goku stronger than Kid Buu when it was stated Gohan > Evil Buu > Goku? And a whole lot more.

Might I offer a suggestion? If you want to discuss this topic, there is a thread in the in-universe forum already dedicated to Buu Arc strengths. That would probably be a better place to discuss this instead of taking this thread off topic.

I haven't seen the movie myself, but I've read the synopsis, and it seems really interesting to me. I'll definitely be getting a copy when it comes out.

The Kanzenshuu summary gives me "a lot of dialogue" type film. The clips I've seen is Goku and Beers punching each other. Sparing. Even Piccolo says its as if Goku is receiving training. I was personally hoping for a new attack but judging a movie by mere clips would be foolish of me.

I'm eager to grab me a English sub when the time comes.

I know I'm ready to purchase some BOG merchandise if CD Japan gets around to posting listings. The only new stuff they have listed are those already-sold-out wallets.

I'm pretty sure they expected money in DvD sales and merchandise and etc., but their goal was 3 billion yen alone in the box office. Unless you think 3 billion was their total goal.
