Apparently the gain you get in a stat from clothing/z-souls is actually lesser than the loss to a stat you get. An example would be a full set of GT Goku. You would lose more points (which, by the way, are in percentages) in Basic Attack and Strikes than gain in Health and Ki Blast. Even if you managed to have one arrow gained over a stat that would otherwise be "equal," it would only be a slight gain.

Just thought I would share this with you.
Please Explain more, because what it sounds like you said is I should go full nude.

I'm wondering why anyone does otherwise.

I've noticed that skills drop a lot more often if you do the PQs 100% solo...at least for me

Not quite. The trick is to actually make sure you're getting your zeni's worth in your skills. For example, if you have gear that decreases like GT Goku (Basic Attack for example) but really want that high Health and Ki Blast bonus, try to make up the difference as best as you can. If you don't, you won't be able to fight as effectively (in this case, your Basic Attacks aka primary attack method will deal shit damage, especially if your race/gender has bad damage output to begin with). Also take into account your race/gender and their strengths and weaknesses. Say you wanna go male Saiyan ki blast build. Obviously it won't be the best due to having the lowest ki blast (and Strikes for that matter) damage, but that doesn't mean you can still make it work. Also remember that clothing and z-souls can break the stat cap from leveling meaning that you can go over 100 points, but at the same time be aware that you can also go below 0 points. The game may seem like stat distribution is a simple process, but it really isn't. I had to make so many wishes just to restore and fix my stats to get them the way I wanted (especially with ki and stamina bars) that Shenron hates me right now. XD

Oh, and don't forget how you set up your weight and height. Height really doesn't impact your movement speed and health much, but weight definitely impacts you ki/melee damage. I tried out going medium in weight with my ki blast user and I noticed a severe drop in power, so be careful.

Hmm...though I guess it's effectiveness could be tied in to how many points you've put into basic strikes too.
Nah it works regardless. My Majin has none, and I've one shotted stamina with a rush before.
Uh-huh, doesn't work on Baby or my level 60 isn't enough

Bebi is an a different league compared to the other Ozaru (as well he should be). Even at level 80, it takes multiple hits to drain his stamina.

But he isn't so hard, I almost got him with using healing, he's just a monster. One attack took me 1/4 to 1/2 of life and it cost me 18 minutes of my life.

Question: How does the Z-Assist work? Do I have to be under my master for the ultimate and Z-Soul working?
Because it worked with Makankosappo as I was under Piccolo, but now I've finished training with Gotenks and it never happened since I left Piccolo.

He's not really hard, just more difficult than the others. I can easily defeat Bardock, Vegeta and Nappa in under 5 minutes without taking a hit in the Ape Festival PQ. Bebi takes more work though. Still doesn't require health items for me, but I actually need to "strategize" a bit because his hits do a lot more damage and his stamina takes longer to deplete. Once it's down though, it doesn't take too long to actually inflict decent damage on him.

My Character is too powerful, the players got scared of joining my team.

Would you dare join my team?
Just chillin' with Goku and Vegeta, Kairi, Riku, Mickey, Goofy, and of course Donald Fuckin' Duck.

And swingin' this keyblade called Crystal Snow. Damn, even its own keyblade transformation beats out Krillin's speed. BTW, Blizzard Blades are Goku fast.

Welp Freeza is the last mentor before I get the last 2 trophies for mentors. He's a bitch to find. If I can't find him I'll just do Yamcha's training in the mean time.

*EDIT* Found Freeza. I'm gonna love training under someone who never trained ever, yet somehow learned skills.

And just completed my training with Android 18. That just leaves Gohan & Videl, Ginyu, Gotenks, and Goku for the people I can get to right now. Hoping Ginyu will pop up next since finishing his (which isn't far off to begin with) will get me Freeza. Goku's I'll probably try to tackle last, other than when that gives me Beerus I mean.

Edit: Ask and you shall receive, hello there Ginyu.

Well yeah, Baby's way too strong for that to work on. :P That's what I meant by the base ones though - Vegeta, Nappa, Bardock. The non Golden variety.

The only mentor I have left is #18. Once she's done, going back to having Cell for a mentor for the z-assist boost in Perfect Kamehameha and his hammy quotes (he definitely wants a hug :3 ).

What's funny is that not only is this a gameplay mechanic, but an in-universe reference as well: trying to fight a monster with power equal (or close to) a Super Saiyan 4 while using Kaio-Ken x20, Super Saiyan, or Super Saiyan 2 isn't going to get you very far. Only reason it actually works is because we're the main character.

I can't for the life of me get Freeza to appear at Toki Toki!!! is there a catch? I've completed story mode and every PQ before DLC.
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

You have to complete Ginyu's training first.

Did they have the DLC for my PS3? I am planning to buy it.

But i figured out, that is the DLC is difficult in the game when downloaded? If it is, i wanna prepare my Lv. 58 Character for a turn to the worst.

My training will certainly advance your skills. 8)

I'm actually already in the final teaching stage with Beerus. I found him by total accident and had sacrifice training with Ginyu to train with him.

Unfortunately, the skills he teaches you aren't really that good :(

I do love Headshot, though.

How ironic is it that two of the best skills (Milky Cannon and Body Change) come from one of the weakest characters in the game. Also Saturday Crash from Raditz.

I've found that Vegeta probably has the best overall lineup of moves from training. Galic Gun can easily fit into a bunch of basic combos, same with Finish Breaker. Shine Shot doesn't do much damage, but it's fast. Final Flash is a typical beam ultimate, which isn't bad, and Vegeta's Z soul, unlike Goku's, actually matches the skills he gives you.
