I get that, but since I was talking about the potential additions for XV2, I don't understand how it's relevant.

Hmm... Good point. But how would they continue the story? Mira and Towa going back and trying again? Maybe they go back to Kid Goku era?

I would think so. Whatever the actual plot is, I imagine Mira and Towa will behind it, simply by virtue of the post-credits teaser in the first game. While it would be nice to see an entirely new era explored throughout the whole game, it's simply more economical to milk whatever iconic moments are left from the series and retread others.

Explain Vegetto. They can include any character they want, if you or anyone wants said characters included to make sense in the game's story, they can easily include them as PQ-only characters or make a worm-hole or posessed scrolls that includes dealing with them.

It's a DBZ game, these "BUT THE ALTERED HISTORY" are just excuses.

I've debated about this with myself. I think I decided that, so long as the altered bits of history play out differently, I would be okay with Xenoverse 2 starting with Raditz again after Towa and Mira regroup and get their bearings straight. Perhaps just let them take a bit more influence from DBO this time around; bring in Masked Bardock, let them be willing to directly interfere with the characters of the past, etc.

This is the only pass they would get though from me. If we were to get a Xenoverse 3, they would have to find some other way to work out a story. Perhaps take a hint from the Parallel Quests and have them venture to alternate timelines to have them further splinter the fragments or something. Visit a universe where Freeza won and uses Earth as his main base as a sign of triumph over the Super Saiyan or something. That kind of stuff.

You see that is where your wrong. It is not a Dragon Ball Z game. It is a Dragon Ball XENOVERSE game. There is no Z in the title of the game at all. So those characters are no longer necessary for this game. They would be counted as either extras or future DLC.

I can't remember if I read it here or elsewhere but it seems the Beerus clothing is glitches. It is supposed to reduce your Health and your Ki while raising your Basic Attack, Strike Attack & Ki Attacks. However the outfit doesn't actually reduce your Health at all.

I just did a check using my Buuber character (he has the highest health stat) and switched between Clothed and no clothed and the health stat didn't budge at all.

I think that makes this outfit pretty freaking good.

Perhaps instead of involving time they could do something with the spacial aspect of the universe. I mean yes disrupting time to such a degree would destroy the universe, but at the same time if one were to disrupt space to such a degree they would get the same result. Since Mira and Towa are out to gather energy to release the seal of the Demon Realm, I would think messing with space would provide some results as well. Now whether or not it's within their power to do so is debatable, but trying to work with time travel a second time when they know about what their enemies are capable of would seem pointless.

And how would they handle CAC? Will you be able to keep your old? Personally, i think that you should be able to keep your character, but reduce him/her/it to level 1 again. If not, then atleast give your old character a cameo like, how cool would it be to fight with your XV2 CAC against your old level 80 XV1 CAC? I'd be down for dat shit. 8)

Honestly, villains in Dragon Ball are nothing if not foolish. By distorting history, they are only taking small actions and are then gathering the energy from what happens naturally as time is fractured. They aren't actually doing much work. I feel like the effort required to disrupt space would be much greater. Though, if they had any real ability to disrupt space, they could probably unbind Makai in a roundabout way rather than just needing energy to break the seal.

Plus, while never mentioned in the game properly, they are "Time Breakers". Though since it wasn't actually mentioned in Xenoverse, perhaps the faction isn't being adapted (or at least not while they are only a duo?).

Just wondering, how do you get the "I am neither Kami or Piccolo now" Z-Soul? I heard it's good, so I want to use it.

You get it at a mixing station by combining various Z-Souls. It used to be pretty overpowered but a recent patch reduced the speed of the health recovery.

This. Like I pointed out above, they don't exactly have a lot of merch-movers left for the roster as it is. Making more characters from the time periods already covered off-limits would be commercial suicide, leaving them with literally nothing but original DB. And in the eyes of the general audience, that wouldn't be very impressive as a follow-up to all the Z/GT villains we fought in the first installment.

Unless they actually take a full "Original Story" in a sequel, yeah this is the way to go. Get the the remaining characters from the Budokai games in there for the completionist side of things and add from there.

The real problem is how to incorporate the missing characters. The non-Broly movie villains are obvious: just have Mira and Towa interfere with the events of their respective movies. Beyond that, though... I mean, are we really going to be shitting our pants in fear of Zarbon and Dodoria?

Have Dodoria handle Gohan's kick and keep Dende as an hostage and make Zarbon step in the fight, simple enough I'd say.

I wonder if Time Breaker Bardock will be a major antagonist for the sequel? I think the regular Bardock that was fighting with the character in the secret saga was a different one.
