EDIT: Apparently, one of her post got deleted. She also had this to say:

Does Yamcha wear a gi?

Yes, but he doesn't when we first meet him. In fact when we first meet him he looks nothing like Yamcha. This is when he saves Roshi, Goku and Bulma from a pit.

Does Roshi try to fight Piccolo?

Not exactly. He attempts to fight some of the Namek-Jins though.

Who all competes in the World Martial Art Tournament?

Goku, Mai, Chichi are the most notable characters. Lesser known characters competeting are; Jackie Chun, Giran, Bacterian, Nam & two others whose names I have forgotten.

How does Goku learn to fly?

He learns this with Roshi which is rather strange because in the show I believe he learnt how to fly from Kami. Kami was most likely omitted because the Nameks are portrayed as bad guys in this picture.

Is Kami in the movie?

I think I pretty much just answered your questions.

Any nods to other DB/DBZ characters?

Not really. Theres not really much to elaborate on this question.

Is capsule corp in the movie?

It is mentioned but the power of the capsules is toned down, for example they can't hold houses or anything, only minor, small objects.

Thanks for reading

I don't know about this... :? Then again nobody here believed that one guy. You know the one who had information about that new special ?
I don't like the fact that she deleted this post, made me lose faith in her :?

Some people think an administrator deleted it.

Destructive Wave.

Destructive Wave.

Not 'Super' Destructive Wave, but 'Destructive Wave'.

Was the attack ever even named in the comic or series? I don't know.

But if that technique is in the film it gains one point. Pure awesome.

By the way, which move is Destructive Wave again?

I thought they were actually going to have Roshi die fighting Piccolo like he's supposed to? That was way back on the casting calls too, and I was sure this picture hinted at it. Definitely Roshi on the ground there.

Rôshi may take a critical hit for Son or be killed via his 'evil clone', if those rumors are true.

Wow, I'd never even noticed that, thanks! I looked pretty closely at it (this time) and you can clearly see that there is the shadow of a third person on the ground to Chatwin's left. The shadow obviously seems to be of someone standing, but it could be the assailant or one of Goku's friends.

The funny thing is that it almost looks like Goku is preparing a Genki Dama; and since the attacker might very well be right in front of him it would make sense...except for the big fact that Goku is not supposed to know the Genkie Dama at that point in the series.

I have a question for everyone. Let's say everything the poster said turned out to be true. Would that change any of your interests about the movie ? Even a little bit ?

It would definitely make me a lot less worried about them doing the series justice, but I would still be as eager to see the movie...since I've always given it the benefit of the doubt when it comes to them possibly doing it right.

I d'no, I'm having a whole lot of trouble believing that they'd leave out Kuririn but still feature Giran, Bacterian and Nam.

Other things she wrote like;
8. Anything after the credits

Yes, only something tiny though. Goku flies off into the sunset.
Just sounds like bullshit. Really? You sit through the credits and they give you a scene of Goku flying off into the sunset?

Others posts sound vague, sort of cold reading what she thinks will bait people on. And a few more go against the grain of what's already out there.
We've already got plot synopsis in somewhat more reputable places than a random poster on IMBD which confirms it's a Harry Potter scenario of Goku "finding out" he's got uber powers.

As for throwing reason out the door and believing what she's posted... Really, other than the parts that sound like utter bullshit, I didn't read anything we hadn't already heard or hypothesized about.

I just scanned these two for a Shone Jump Magazine(No.32 of 7/21 2008) I got at Mitsuwa this last Sunday.

Are they of any use to you guys?

I'm pretty sure those were posted a while back. And if I remember correctly they only had the same old main character bios (actor info mostly) that we've seen in a bunch of other magazines.

I may be wrong, and if I am than sorry,

I just wanted this info out there if it wasn't already.
I only brought that Jump zin for like $2.

This part of the "news" has me the most intrigued, but at the same time the most suspicious.

They could be in by name only. They just won't look like who they are named after. If that makes any sense.

Well, at least not for Giran, and Jackie Chun (unless she's not familiar with the whole Roshi = Chun thing, if she's not a huge DB fan). But Nam and Bacterian would be pretty easy to do.

I wish the people over there didn't chase her off. They should have asked her some better questions. If someone would have asked the right questions, she could have easily been outed as a liar. If she was a liar of course.

Like what? What could you possibly ask that you would know wasn't true without having seen the movie yourself?

Really, she could have written 'And that one scene where Goku climbed out of the water nude with naught but a conveniently placed bush to hide his Saiya-jin pride made me giggle.' and this board would be singing 'I can't wait!' without a moment's hesitation.

I don't know! Maybe where she saw the movie ? Or based on how she answered a tough question, someone could judge if it was BS or not. I'm just starved for some information! :-P

Well said. I think she's telling the truth. I mean...who would be such a clever bastard as to lead us on with something that we think is real, only to turn out as a hoax?
