How are you holding your judgement if you're calling it shit in the same sentence?mfwlegend3 wrote:Full korean raws are out and I still hold my judgement, it's pretty shit, but cool art.
Merged Zamasu is such a damn pushover that it hurts to watch. Toyo did terribly with his portrayal of "menacing" villains.
About Zamasu portrayal he's not a menacing villain except when he's ahead. That's the point, the personality of the character. He's not like his anime version. It's fine to dislike it or love it, however you can't call it a terrible portrayal of something it's not trying to be. We can't say a rabbit is poor a portraying a dog, when it's just being a rabbit.

Worded that wrong. What I meant was that I still think it's shit regardless, even more or so now we have the full raws.LightBing wrote:How are you holding your judgement if you're calling it shit in the same sentence?
Which is extremely boring. And I can say it was a terrible portrayal for not only his character, but Black's. Toei knocked Toyo out of the park with this one.About Zamasu portrayal he's not a menacing villain except when he's ahead.

I'll make a better review later, let's see if we get full translations, but, for now, this may my favorite chapter of DBS manga. I think it's great, Vegetto is f___ing awesome!
Heno heno kappa!
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Absolute Zamasu against Goku and Vegeta is a great fight. I'm happy that Toyotarõ maintained the Kaioshin type abilities from Zamasu. It's a refreshing fighting style in Dragon Ball.
Vegetto vs Absolute Zamasu is a bit disappointing, it's average and very short. Taking into account how it was shown in the anime, it seems Mr.Toriyama really wanted it to be a blip in the arc. Fair to say that the anime was able to squeeze out more juice from it.
Let's see what the translations tell us. Still quite a lot to unpack. Liking what I've seen so far.

By looking at the leaks, it looks ok, nothing to big aside from the annoying homages and vegito look cool but I can't Say the same from zamasu, this saga might end next month, in may it better be the last chapter because I'm tire of seeing a meh zamasu, let's just say toyataro take on this arc was lackluster

I love how these 2 dumbasses tries to go in and out of fighting Merged Zamasu 1v1, its funny how Toyo drew them as well
I really prefer this version.

So did we ever get confirmation on where this was said? I'm looking for it too.Zephyr wrote:Where does he say this?HeroR wrote:In this very chapter, Gowasu said that Trunks can't used a Time Ring because he isn't a Supreme Kai

So Blue Vegetto not Vegetto Blue, guess Toei didn't predict Toyo correctly
Though I think Vegetto Blue rolls of the tongue better.

It would seem weird that vegetto would need to take a senzu as the consensus has always been fusing into a new body restores your health. Kind of another retcon?? I guess i dunno? Does not make much sense to me anyway

After defusing, despiste being alive, Vegeta didn't have his health restored. Goku himself said it during the Kid Buu fight.

I still wonder why any of the versions called themselves Super Vegito Blue.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:So Blue Vegetto not Vegetto Blue, guess Toei didn't predict Toyo correctlyThough I think Vegetto Blue rolls of the tongue better.

well vegeta was practically dead after defusing so in reality he should always have full ki/health. It's always been confusing to say the least.MisteryOne wrote:When was it shown that fusing restores your health?jplaya2023 wrote:It would seem weird that vegetto would need to take a senzu as the consensus has always been fusing into a new body restores your health. I wonder why vegetto wasn't fighting in red then turning blue last moment, it's like he forgot the strategy to win. Makes no sense to me.

Bit thats the point. After defusing, he was not in a perfect state. So that clearly shows that fusions doesn't heal you as far as they know so they eat the senzu after fusing and both of them will be healed, apart from Vegito being able to go all out in Blue ,something that for whatever reason he wanted to do.jplaya2023 wrote:well vegeta was practically dead after defusing so in reality he should always have full ki/health. He going Blue would have made sense if Merged was stronger than him and he had to go all out or if he were able to finish him, but yeah, the way it's presented Vegito is a moron. He could have just transformed into God, evade Merged's attacks ans wait until he defuses.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I think Super Vegetto Blue sounds way too clunky. Personally I don't think he needed a name considering his short appearene and since merchandising was gonna stick with SSGSS anyway like it has.MisteryOne wrote:I still wonder why any of the versions called themselves Super Vegito Blue.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:So Blue Vegetto not Vegetto Blue, guess Toei didn't predict Toyo correctlyThough I think Vegetto Blue rolls of the tongue better.

It is, but I feel like adding it to the name is stupid. Why not SSB Vegetto? We don't call then Goku Blue/Blue Goku. Its just dumb to make it a title at all.MisteryOne wrote:I still wonder why any of the versions called themselves Super Vegito Blue.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:So Blue Vegetto not Vegetto Blue, guess Toei didn't predict Toyo correctlyThough I think Vegetto Blue rolls of the tongue better.

Same reason Vegetto called himself Super Vegetto and so does the merchandise and not Super Saiyan Vegetto.TheMikado wrote:It is, but I feel like adding it to the name is stupid. Why not SSB Vegetto? Vegetto blue is much better to say, blue Vegetto seems like a forced way to keep the naming scheme same as super vegetto
