So I went in a bought the whole Season Pass at amazon, got the code, and reedemed it on my ps3, i panicked for a while because it didn't download anything, then after a bit of research I found it that you bought the liscense, but you still need to go to PSN and download the unlock key for the dlc, for free of course. after that, I picked my melee human and went in and finished everything in like 15 minutes. XD so, dlc 1 kind of sucks on it's own, in fact, there's little material in the whole pack, but xenoverse is a game I really like so for me the whole season pass is good enough. The voice recordings sometimes are terrible though lol.

Can anyone give me a list of clothes we get on dlc 1? So far I only noticed the devilman set.

PS: Anyone got advice for buidling a strike male saiyan?

DLC Pack #1 has Launch, Akkuman, Mr. Popo, Bandit Yamcha and Murasaki's outfits.

And in advance, Pack #2 will have Super 17, Pan, Gogeta, Towa and Mira.

Put 100 on Basic Attack, at least 25 on Health/Ki/Stamina, and everything else on either Strike or Ki Blast Supers, depending on your preference. Then learn and occasionally abuse the infinite juggle.

You don't really need 100, 75 is more than fine and you'll have more points to spend somewhere else.

I just recently watched all the animated scenes from Dragon Ball Heroes and I hadn't realize how many liberties they've taken with the Series. Adult goten/trunks and Gotenks, SSJ 3 Gotenks, SSJ 3 future trunks, SSj 4 Broli. With Xenoverse's success, they can really expand on it like they have done with heroes. There are plenty of stories for them to tackle and incorporate into a series. Not to mention that they haven't even scratched the surface with Towa and Mira. If this game is successful, and it really looks as if its been doing well, then I don't see any reason why they can't continue to expand rather it be to this version with DLCs, or future sequels.

I really wouldn't mind if they wanted to dip their toes into the what-if material for a game like this, especially if they add a customization system to the original DB cast. The developers don't seem to be as excited for it though. They were asked during the promotion period if there would be any what-if characters in the story and their reply was simply "The story is the what-if".

Well that's unfortunate. I just think there is so much that they can do considering that they are using a story based on changes in the timeline. They can technically do anything they want. All what ifs can be seen as time line alterations. I really hope they don't limit the potential. Heroes clearly when all out.

I'm surprise that LSSj4 Broli didn't became a DLC fighter to promote him in Heroes similar what Raging Blast did with SSj3 Broli and Vegeta.

Sadly, if any character was going to be a what-if tie-in, it probably would have been SS4 Broli. The game dips back into GT characters and is using them for the DLC plot, so it would have fit. I'm honestly more surprised they didn't utilize Masked Bardock though, but there's always the possibility of that happening after towa and Mira reform and presumably do the Time Breaker thing officially instead of just the duo experimenting through time.

I actualy like SSJ3 Vegeta in RB2 a lot. He's the most badass fighter with his supers and attitude, it gave him some justice.
SSJ3 Brolli I can live without and damn, I would be seriously upset if there was SSJ4 Brolli in, more so that we won't get SSJ4 Vegeta outside of preorder.

Honestly, I'm glad XV didn't take a lot of material from Heroes. Doing so would probably create a huge mess in my opinion.

Shouldn't that kind of be the charm about a game with alternate timelines? One of my honest problems with Xenoverse's story, other than the whole mess with Goku/Fiend Freeza/Cell/Buu prior to Demigra, is that they didn't really DO anything. Pretty much all the cool stuff was limited to the material the baddies screwed up before your time patroller went back in time, which you never got to experience. They should have taken the DBO path where they were causing split timelines and you were doing your best to get things back on track. That way if Towa decided to make "Majin" Vegeta a Super Saiyan 3, you just had to defeat him to get things back to a situation that was manageable, not literally back to exactly how it was supposed to be to prevent the whole main timeline from changing.

Sure, we also had the Parallel Quests, but there wasn't a lot of meat to them. We get a bit of a set up in the description, but that's basically it. :/

I think for a story, I would prefer if it were original. I personally didn't care much that the story wasn't too in-depth, due to how happy I was that we finally got a new original storyline rather than repeating the same crap over and over again. However, if there were a sequel, I would expect a new story that is totally original. I just saw Xenoverse's story as a stepping stone to future DB games being original.

Maybe they could have the villains come back to life in the distant future, so you're trying to seek help from the long-dead Z-fighters to train you. If the story were completely original, then we'd have more new characters to be introduced to and we'd possibly be able to go more into the lore of DB (I.e. if you visit Otherworld for help, and you meet the legendary Super Saiyan from a thousand years ago which Vegeta was talking about in the Frieza Saga).

I've been preaching for years that i want an original story (similar to what Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans was back in the day), but Xenoverse is set up perfectly for a sequel and I hate to see that go to waste. So let Towa and Mira regroup and form the Time Breakers, let's deal with the history shenanigans again (hopefully with bigger changes), and then once they're defeated I'll pray that we get completely new content in the next game and we never look back at rehashes.

I know there are some people out there that honestly want rehash after rehash because they want a game that perfectly recreates everything from the original story. Until Bandai Namco can start making games on a better budget and schedule though, they almost certainly aren't going to get what they want. So hopefully they can put that desire aside and accept new content until that super awesome game they desire can be a possibility.
