Goddamn I totally forgot about episode title spoilers. And I should be used to that as someone who watches all those toyetic shows and One Piece too.

I'm kinda shocked Piccolo won against Frost. Perhaps we're going back to old days of when strategy and tactic can make up the difference in strength. Or maybe Toriyama wanted to throw a bone to Piccolo and his fans.

Anyways, this radically changes my opinion in how the tournament pans out. I see it going like this:

Goku vs. Botamo
Goku vs. Frost
Piccolo vs. Frost
Piccolo vs. Magetta
Vegeta vs. Magetta
Vegeta vs. Cabba
Monaka vs. Cabba
Monaka vs. Hit

In short, everybody gets one.

It's too boring and predictable for everyone to have 1 win and then lose.

And that's something I'm loving about it. Doesn't even seem like Dragon Ball.

Botamo ability was OP, but Goku was smarter and found a way to win.

Yeah, this tournament really seems to be emphasising strategy and tactics over pure strength. Something we haven't seen in Dragon Ball for decades. That's probably why the battles are so short.

Thinking about how angry people were about how Piccolo was "obviously going to lose and there is absolutely no way he can even compete" is something I'm going to look back on and laugh about.

In all seriousness though, a man can dream about Piccolo also winning against Magetta can't he? I wouldn't mind Vegeta getting two wins though. I think Hit vs. Monaka will be interesting, and I think Vegeta will beat Cabba also.

Around the internet today after the episode leaks I have seen that most people are hyped for Piccolo as especially as he has a good chance of winning 2 matches which I think is brilliant for the series and this is the complete opposite from the beginning of the tournament were a lot of people said he was going to get smashed.

At the end there is a possibility that Piccolo could have 2 wins, Goku and Monaka 1 each and Vegeta 0. Who would have thought of that.

So after being hit at least twice by Frost and firing the Makankosappo Piccolo still has enough in the tank to fight Magetta? That training with Gohan was the best thing Piccolo has done.

I'm hoping for 100 episodes.

The next ED should run from episode 37 to 49, with 49 marking the end of June (the next cour).
52 is an extremely unlikely episode count now. The show is either ending on 49 (a full year) or it's gonna air at least up to 62 or so.

I really doubt Super will end in June, but if that's the case, the replacement should be announced very soon, unless Toei wants to keep their schedules chaotic.

I don't get why it feels like there rushing through this arc, I think I preferred when they milked the fights, but they seem to just want to get them all over with.

How do you guys think the episodes will play out? Seems 34 will be just Piccolo vs Frost, while 35 will be Piccolo vs Magetta. But I think episode 36, with Cabe vs Vegeta will happen in the second half of it, with either Vegeta vs Magetta or Piccolo vs Cabe taking the first half. Then Vegeta will get defeated in episode 37 probably in the first half. Then Monaka might get defeated too in the last half of it. I just don't see Vegeta not winning at least one fight.
