Another skill I'm loving that got patched is Super Kamehameha. Granted it can now be Guard Break (could of sworn it was already possible), but it got buffed in damage output. I mean yeah that's not exactly helpful with AI spammers but still, especially since its damage wasn't the best to begin with.
dbzfan7 wrote:Can I say beyond Blue Hurricane, Strike Ultimate's are just shit? I find them all really weak in comparison to Ki Blast attacks. Yeah I have ki at 100 for one character and 90-98 on the other, but still the difference is pretty noticeable. Also it's easy to get out of a Strike Ultimate in comparison. Spirit Sword only does real good damage if you can hit with it twice. Also the options are limited. I also find Ki Supers genuinely more effective too.

Looking at stats....why do male humans have such a good thing going for them? They have all 4 of their stats on the top 4 spots. Everyone else doesn't. Also gotta agree on how Saiyans ironically do seem like weaker humans. I haven't fully tested out humans, but from one go they feel faster and about as effective. Saiyans seem only good for PVE with spam while in PVP they don't have as much going for em. If I maxed out a human, they'd probably do a lot better with their perks.
Yeah I agree with the Strike Ultis. Aside from Blue Hurricane, the only other ones that are somewhat decent are Spirit Sword (as you said) and Victory Rush. Really the only reason why people run Victory Rush is because it allows you to close the gap on your opponent regardless on how far away they are. I've seen people use Justice Combination as well, but that's probably a Z-Assist Ultimate so that can get a damage buff.

It's not just male Humans either. Female Humans aren't any better when it comes to Ki Blast builds. Not only do they have the highest Ki Blast Super damage, but they share the same health as males (3rd best), their Basic Attacks are somewhat manageable (5th best), and they make even better use of their auto ki regen ability than males. In contrast, female Saiyans only have the 2nd best Strikes and Ki Blasts, the lowest health, and the absolute worst Basic Attack stat. Their two abilities are also mostly shit. Really the only, ONLY true benefit female Saiyans have is better Stamina regen than Earthlings. Female Majins aren't any better. Their Health, Basic, and Strikes are all ranked 5th while their Ki Blasts are ranked 3rd, and unlike male Majins their slow Stamina regen hinders them more despite giving a defense boost at max.

Back-Melee, trying to jump out of your melee string, teleporting youself and using a throw. If you have Dragon Thunder you'll catch anyone who vanishes after your string as well.
How do i back Melee?

43, I think, and a Namekian. I've put the majority of my points into basic attack with the remainder going between health and special melee finishers.

One thing I'm kinda hating is how pathetically simple it is for people to get out of Spirit Sword, and how stupidly easy it is to interrupt. I mean cripes, any normal ki blast can interrupt the move, or any hit on the target impaled with it lets them move free and can then interrupt you with any hit. I went pretty hard to get that move and finds it's only the most effective in 1v1 matches. Why is it so easy to interrupt? Hell, Chain Destructo Disk you can take damage over stamina while using it, and still not get interrupted without a guard-break move. But if someone sneezes in the general direction of when using Spirit Sword, and you get smacked out of it.

Something else, more personally I think, is...well I'd like to have more than 8 character slots. I mean it took me 3 days to beat the Story Mode and unlock the other slots and I filled them in 20min because I wanted to create all my own avatars and story stuff. But...8 slots isn't enough and there's much more I want to do. We should at least have 16 slots. The system can more than handle it. If we can make dozens of saves on things like Skyrim, then this shouldn't be so limited.

I think 8 slots is more than enough considering that literally allows you to create every race/gender possible.

8 slots would be perfectly fine if using the Dragon Balls to reset your appearance didn't change your presets. The current number of slots allows you to create one of each race/gender, but it doesn't allow you to truly take advantage of the character creator for those of us wanting to also fill in character gaps that the game allows us to fill in (Tullece, Gine, 16, etc).

Until they add more, or add more cosmetics to give further customization, or both. And it becomes an annoyance just to get the dragonballs solely for character editing, then again to stat change, which you'll probably do 5-6 times per character until you're comfortable with where it's all at. 8 really isn't enough for all the combinations we can create. I got more slots in SWTOR at the start, and bought more for the servers I played on because there was still so much more I wanted to create.

Sixteen slots should be a hard cap. And maybe we'll get more unlocked as part of DLC's or updates. It's something that could only serve to benefit the game and have people play more. It really takes nothing to get to lv80 and getting to 85 was more tedious than necessary. Those extra 15 points don't change much.

A truly missed opportunity given the 7-8 slots for alt presets. If the wish didnt alter them we could have had nearly 70 characters through the alt presets.

Ki Ultimates are flat out better and there are very few strike ultimates as it is. But think about it, outside of dragon fist, I don't recall many characters finishing their opponents in the show with a physical attack. So it kinda makes since that the strike ultimates wouldn't be as effective.

Lol, I felt the same way! Although I'm happy that they are paying attention to these things. Plus I found that it's better used no law when knocking an opponent away.

I do wish they would incorporate more customization options in DLC.

-Super Electric & Death Ball Strike tracking got nerfed.

-Super Electric Strike is much like Shocking Death Ball now where if the opponent is in your chest, it'll go over them. Also seems to knockback now.

-Super vanishing ball only tracks until it shoots now

-Milky Cannon fixed for online.

-Getting Dragon Balls is Much Easier
