What a nice detailed looking inbetween frame that is.
Takahashi perhaps?
How i got into this shit:
Spoiler:
Not an OG Dragon ball viewer having watched it on tv, got into the franchise through Youtube. First impression: Testosterone filled, manly looking buff dudes, punching other buff dudes, in space, with lasers, with incredible superhuman strength and drama; i was hooked. Then, before i knew it (literally before i knew it; since i started to become aware of the show after i saw a clip of Goku vs Hit on facebook), DBS came along. Now i'm in for the same experience and journey as you guys had with Dragon Ball Z on toonami, only this time it's Dragon Ball Super. Feels great to be able to follow a Dragon Ball series live. Let's. Fucking. Gooo!
I'm not sure how I feel about that shade of blue. It looks nice on its own but looks a little oversaturated next to his dull skin. Maybe it's just the hard contrast between the highlights and the shadows.

Hopefully we get another milestone and have shirtless SSGSS Goku in the same episode!
I'm also happy cuz we still got some SSGSS figures coming out next year so hopefully they'll be of battle damaged Goku.

Most of these preview shots end up looking better in the actual episode probably because they're still touching things up.

Takahashi is on 114.
Ajay thinks that preview image is a partial correction from Itai.
Oh ye, right. Whoops.

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

As far as animators that have been involved in Super within its regular rotation since the very beginning, I would say Tate is head and shoulder the best animator Super has its disposal right now. He's never let us down.
