Did you all see the difference GOOD art and GOOD shading make? Some shots were unreal. This episode made me depressed because DB will never look like that on a consistent basis.

So this episode is like what if Super had the Z art style at it's best. Result = Amazing.
Seriously the art in many shots was incredible, animation was average I guess, pacing wasn't as strong as it was in episode 111 - 113, but the fighting choreography was genuinely interesting and overall great. It made up fot it. So we got some really phenomenal art most of the episode with great choreography and average animation, loving it honestly.
Art was better than Shida's.

Takahashi is incredible! Getting actual Z character models elevated the visuals of this episode to near where the double-episode special (which I know also includes Takahashi) are.

I didn't realize just how much I missed seeing proper noses among other things in Super until now.

Straight from the recap to this episode the quality was huuuuuuuuge in difference and then picked back up in the second half and yes at least we got see him draw SSGSS in some capacity! If he gets the finale episode.... wow. Btw thank god Daisuki is still 1080p that would have been bummer otherwise!

Been waiting on my DBS Pt 1 BD to make an SSG album, but guess I will have to start it now!

Great episode! Takahashi is one of those gems I fully agree he should replace Yamamuro and become the face this franchise deserves.
I really hope he stays with us and supervises one episode of Goku vs Jiren round 2.

Karasawa is back, but as a key animator this time. I'm waiting for his next supervised episode.

The writing was average. Even though I like both of the girls, there's was too much "sis" stuff. They could show their bond with better dialogue.

Did the episode remind anyone else of Movie 8? A lot of shots seem reminiscent, I wonder if he re-watched it due to Broly and Kale thing.

This episode is depressing in a way, though. Essentially shows us what could have been all along... after this episode everything else just seems too plain now lol.

I'll be honest and say the actual fighting was a bit of a letdown. Pretty much all of it looked awkward as hell, and pretty damn rushed.

BUT BUT BUT, the art MORE than makes up for the lackluster battle. I was giggling like a little school girl from the very beginning. That might be the single best looking episode in terms of raw artwork in the entire series so far.

The writing was average. Even though I like both of the girls, there's was too much "sis" stuff. They could show their bond with better dialogue.

Surprising, considering this was written by Toshio, Super's best writter. Was expecting a bit more from him to be honest. Although if anything, this just proves that it's impossible to make Kale and Caulifla interesting.
