I didn't need a gigantic change, but something that made the form stand out more. A paint job and some tiny tweaks don't do it for me.

That is worse cause it's a literal recolour by all definitions.

And it has butt knees.

Just wanna get a gauge on the general feeling surrounding this movie right now. I can understand why people aren't as excited this time around, but do you guys think this is looking better or worse than Battle of Gods?

My first reaction was that it looked like fan art, but I've gotten used to it after watching the trailer over and over, and now I like it, he truly looks like a royal tyrant.

To me, its looking worse because, to me, Beerus looked and sounded intriguing, even though I had my reservations about him.

Are you sure? Goku who had atained god power received a kick from Oob that made his arm tremble? How Oob is not that strong? Goku even said that someone that is not him (Oob) could win the tournament, making that Oob is in fact powerful but Goku with godly powers could easily defeat him... Hope Toriyama explain that in the 3rd movie lol

I feel like since it's an evolution instead of a transformation. It would have been okay to do minor changes like removing the purple plate on the stomach, gaining god aura, or even do a hybrid of his 2 most famous forms. But Golden Freeza sucks. It's just...ugly. I honestly mean to harm to people's opinions but how can you like it?

That with slightly bigger muscles lile his were in the trailers and maybe something slightly different than his base form would be fantastic as a god form for me. I like his new form though (and it isn't confirmed as godly).

I'm excited for it, myself. I loved Battle of Gods, and Toriyama's never failed me before (not having read Minus might have helped

) I'm currently watching Kai for the first time, and Chris Ayers is my favorite new voice, so I'm looking forward to getting that from Freeza in the new movie. And Beerus is my newest favorite character, so I'm really curious about what they are doing with him.

So yeah, my feeling towards this is almost entirely positive. I'm going in looking for a fun movie, and Toriyama excels at fun.

Yes, I feel like it's looking worse, simply because I don't think there's much that can be done further with Freeza at this point.

That's ugly too. Just slightly above Golden Freeza. Thats at least interesting ugly. Golden Freeza is just... Bleh.

Its a very good 5th transformation, like Coola had. I would like something different for a God form, though. But Golden Freeza looks worse.

I'm not as excited for this as I was for BoG. Beerus, Super Saiyan God and overall a new DBZ movie after so long had me drolling since the announcement. This one while looking kinda interesting, it feels kinda more of the same? I mean, we've had the whole Namek situation, then Coola, then Mecha Freeza, then Meta Coola, then Freeza in Movie 12, then Freeza in GT,then Chilled in Episode of Bardock and now Freeza's at it again with a new (imo ugly) form. I mean, I know Ryuusei Nakao can't stop fighting Masako Nozawa, but this is a bit too much. Will definetely keep around to watch it as soon as I can tho.
