Dear lord, no. I see the light now. I wasted 20 seconds of my time on foolish idealism. I could have used that time to grab a soda and scratch my bum.

WHY? WHY DID I GET PULLED BY DAIZEX INTO A DAMN FOOL IDEALISTIC CRUSADE LIKE MY FATHER DID? WHY?!

Yeah, as if posting on a Dragon Ball forum doesn’t do just that…

All right, all right; let's not all attack Smooth Criminal at once. He's entitled to his opinion, same as we are. :)

Yes. Please form an orderly line and wait your turn. :D

Seriously, though. Let's all try to be just a little more shonen.

What's so complex about adding a 7th disc? It would be like the disc holders for the season sets. Hell why they are at it they could add an eight disc just for extras.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Actually, with a November release, which is just a few short months away, after they already started advertising for it with 6 discs and the current retail price, I don't know if it would work.

At the very least, they'll fuck up the first one, and then we'll get 7 disc sets from then on. Like we did with the Orange Bricks.

So we're not really wasting our time :?

I don't wanna 7 discs, it's not symmetric and aesthetically balanced.
Only barbarian can come up with this :x
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel

Actually, it can be. A gatefold with a triangle shape in the middle and two on each side.

Have we even seen FUNimation's Dragon Box footage yet? Do we even know if we'll need more discs to obtain the best quality? I think a lot of the talk about how this will supposedly help to unfathomable extents is largely based on conjecture. If anything, asking for a full quality sample of the footage as it is on their Dragon Boxes would be a more productive investment.

I'm not going to tell you lot how to organize your petitions or whatnot, but at least consider it food for thought. It'd make sense to me to use fewer discs if the same quality can be achieved through modern lossless compression algorithms.

Yeah, we should have asked to get footage first. I mean, we asked the Funi reps to give us a screenshot from the remastered sets to see how the cropping was back in November 2006, and they delivered, so I say we ask for them to post a clip on the Funimation forums.

That won't work though because then it won't be the same encode quality. It would be much better since it's a much smaller file.

Then they should rip it straight from a seven episode disc.

Even if they had, they wouldn't rip them. They'd want it to look as nice as possible.

6 discs = 40 episodes??? If I wanted to burn Kai for my brother who is on Holiday and will return in 2 months, I must burn 4 episodes per DVD to have HQ quality

And the trailer looks great even for standard YouTube quality. And 99% of the time, the DVD's usually look just as good as or better than the trailer. I think we're just worrying too much.
