Is Master Roshi's moon-busting feat an outlier?
Re: Is Master Roshi's moon-busting feat an outlier?
Yeah, I get that, I just mean that when the intent was for Tenshinhan's comment to be flawed, it doesn't seem surprising for me for him to be wrong in his comparison.

I don't think Ten's comments were flawed. There's only so much you can tell. Even a scouter can't guess a fighters unweighted power when they are wearing weights.
Your point of view makes me feel that you think 322 and 334 were not Piccolo and Goku's weighted power because the scouter read them at 408 and 416 without weights.
I'm not going to throw out the weighted numbers and claim they are false just because the fighters were able to hide it from the scouter. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

That's different, because I was talking about an out of universe perspective, specifically about your earlier comment about not thinking Toriyama would have Ten make an incorrect statement.

I don't see how it's different? Speaking about someone's weighted power only to have them remove their weights and bring forth a new power shouldn't make you completely disregard what was said about the weighted power imo. I don't see the logic in that.

I just mean that the point was for Ten to be wrong, so you shouldn't too much stock into what he actually said. That's all.Mjb1985 wrote:I don't see how it's different? I don't think Tien was wrong though. Or at least he wasn't anymore wrong than when the scouter read 322 and 334 for Piccolo and Goku's Weighted Power.
