The animation itself isn't bad, the motion is better than I would expect. The drawings themselves are terrible... that's what it lacks.

I'd agree with that. Decently technical stuff elevating bad art. I appreciate the steps their taking to appeal to both "sides" of the fanbase, but... everyone buff new saiyains just because Super Sayain 5 just is not fun.

Aesthetically (Since there's no point really talking about the story at this point), there's definitely some problems. But I can tell he's putting a lot of hard work into this. Unfortunately, while IMO his composition/effects are pretty good. He's still lacking in the actual art/animation part. And a lot of the backgrounds are just overly-blurred images.

Here's hoping he continues to improve with time.

You're right, there's really no point in talking about the story since I've long since cared (I don't even know what's going on anymore). But I can see the effort put into these videos but there's a lot to be desired. I like some of the effects, those can be really cool sometimes. But the art and anatomy to the characters needs serious work. Maybe the animator(s) will improve in time, not only in animation but in writing as well. And maybe... just maybe... they'll drop the project and start fresh with something more original.

Every clip I see from this series just pushes me to be a better animator and practice more. So when the time comes when I create my own fan animation, it won't suck (too much). So some good is coming out of it.

Also, Dead-Bra-Boobs. Surely I'm not the only one who noticed how defined they were.
