I think I'll watch up until the episode before the Cell Games saga starts then wait for all the episodes to be done before I watch the last 10. If I'd known about this thread before I started watching it I'd have held off for a while.

You could always use saiyanprimalforce's placement for Part 8 to hold you off until SSH is done with his (SPF took liberties with his placement and I imagine that SSH is going to be more accurate to the Japanese broadcast with his). I haven't actually watched through his placement for the episodes yet (I've been waiting for SSH to finish up with Part 7 first), so I can't really say how different his placement is from the Japanese broadcast, but yes, he made changes if he thought them necessary. The most notable change he made off the top of my head was using "Win Tough Fight" for Gohan's SSJ2 transformation. In the end I'm going to use SSH's placement once he's done because I want it as close to the Japanese broadcast as possible, but SPF's should be fine for now if you don't want to wait to marathon the series.

Wasn't that other guy's audio missing key SFX? I thought that was the main reason this project got so much hype. Aside from retaining the intentions of the creators, it was actually done well on a technical level.

Again, I haven't watched the episodes in full yet (just spot checked), so I'm not exactly sure. I suppose that's just another reason to get SSH's version once he's done with it!

I thought it was just the "reverb" effects that were missing in saiyanprimalforce's edits? I'm not entirely sure what those are but I'm guessing they're some kind of voice echo present on the removed music track. Not a huge deal right? I've been watching some of her Faulconer edits and none of the lost reverb effects have been noticeable.

But yeah this project retains the integrity of the original show and I personally consider it the definitive version of English Kai.

I honestly can't say. I've got stuff to do outside of this project, so I can't give any sort of date on that. Just stay posted, and I promise that everything will be done soon enough.
