Really? M1023 is one of your least favourite Dragon Ball tracks? Cause for me it's actually one of my MOST favourite tracks. It just feels so haunting and yet so soothing all at the same time, and I love it because of that. Oh well, different strokes for different folks, I guess.
Anyway, onto my opinion of M1914:
Captain-Sora wrote:I find it to be a haunting and memorable rendition of the Tree's theme from Tree of Might. I prefer the shorter and deeper/male choir variants, though.
Next up, one of the much later renditions of the Saiyan/Super Saiyan theme: M1914
A really rockin' track, I actually kinda like it. Can't help but notice the part at 0:55 with the guitar. I'm not sure if that was unintentional or not, but concerning the context of the track, it kinda fits.
Next, One of my personal favorite Dragon Ball tracks of all time: M201

I imagine the comic will speed up once the animated series ends its adaption of Toriyama's notes and can move on to another Toriyama-outlined arc.
That doesn't make sense since the Toriyama finished writing the Future Trunks Saga back in February. Why would they need to drag when Toriyama had months to write a follow up and the anime was still in the Champa Saga during that time.
And it weird to hear about padding in the anime when Chapter 16 had the padding of Future Majin Buu that could have been skipped.
This is the same guy who would do an entire week's worth of work in a single night just to be able to procrastinate for a week and do nothing but watch movies or build models. Logic does not apply to Toriyama Akira. He has evolved past it.

Jobbing, FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE! I'd accept a heartfelt moment of the two exchanging stories about being Super Heroes.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I adore this cue, and everything about the scene it was composed for. The way the music starts up before the Toei logo even appears, the slow, ominous buildup over the mist and parting clouds before the first DragonBall appears onscreen, the fact that the audience is able to take it all in for over half a minute before the narrator even starts talking... I love openings like that.
Brilliant usage of Cooler's distinct theme, intermingling with strings signaling that some major pain is about to go down. I love how his motif started off as sounding like this weird B-Movie type of material, only to sound all appropriately metallic and even more badass in the following film.
It sounds a bit like O Fortuna. I like how tense the music sounds. When you hear this song, you know something major is about to happen. Even without the choir, that song does its job well of engaging the viewer in whatever is happening on screen.
Love it! I know it's not technically "Piccolo's Theme" but it might as well be. I remember this song most from the Daimao arc and it has such a proud and threatening sound definitely befitting Evil Piccolo's character. I will never forget that shot of him looking at Goku and Tenshinhan as the song plays. So cool!
I like how the song slowly builds up as it progresses. From the somber violins to the drums coming in around the 3:50 mark, it's spectacular. One of my favorite Kikuchi songs for sure.
Nice tune. It sounds like typical RPG music, but it's good typical RPG music! The instrumentation is pretty unique, and I like how the song builds up with the piano and the synth instrument, and then moves on to that awesome trumpet.
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite DBZ Hit Song Collection albums. It's so chill and atmospheric. It's a good song to put on in the background whenever you're working on something. The singer has a great, soft singing voice that fits the instrumental part of the song very well.
Let's do another favorite of mine from Hit Song Collection 9...
Cool! An intense remix of the openings of the Dragon Ball series! I love this sort of intense-synth-remix stuff. I could imagine something like this being played at a Dragon Ball-themed dance party or something.
I really appreciate the instrumentals in this piece, although I would be remiss in failing to mention that I detest vocals in general, so it isn't something I can hold against this song in particular. That being said, I do enjoy the synth bass and pan flute.
"My dear friend, how can I make this even more painful for you? I could crush your hands, rip off both of your ears, or maybe I'll just smash in your tiny little cranium. Ehehehehehehehe."

Reminds me of level music for a contemporary Sonic game, complete with upbeat guitar riffs and an assertive character. I'm of course unfamiliar with the material enough to know if it's plagiarized, but as it stands, the music is interesting, if a little prosaic.

It's alright. It starts off a bit slow and it seems like it's gonna build up to something, but it stays the same the whole way through. Then again, I realize this is supposed to be a more emotional and/or relaxing soundtrack, though the moments where it was used completely escape my mind for the moment (I guess that just tells me how forgettable it was?).
Next, apologies for the poor sound quality, can't find anything better.

Love the strings and the Koto (if I'm guessing the instrument correctly). The percussion could have been a little more creative but it's fun to hear more modern samples in the Japanese music.
It has a nice mild build to it similar to the way the last piece builds (minus the percussion).

I must admit, the DB Super intro didn't hit me at first, but it grew on me a lot! Energetic as hell and adrenaline infusing, This female version is quite interesting I like the voice of the girl.
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.
What is the name of the song that plays when Goku arrives at Bulma's party/Whis eats a Cup Noodle/Goku runs towards Whis while saying goodbye to ChiChi?
Is it an original piece of music for Dragon Ball Super?

I'm not sure myself, but try asking in this thread:
