Well no.. it's still Ultra Instinct.
Um, It's called "mastered" ultra instinct. It's a new form. And was even revealed with descriptions stating it was a new form

"Son Goku's most powerful form"

What we had been seeing was simply called OMEN

It isn’t a new form so much as Goku completed UI. Omen was a half transformation.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

That works. However way you want to look at it

It was decsirbed as a new form is all. "Son Goku's most powerful form yet"

I would agree with you too, but it isnt about my opinion, it was simply referred to by all sources, outlets, production, and canon as a new form.

Being perfectly frank here, originally I preferred SSJ God and Blue to SSj4 and the fan route with SSj5 etc. But yet another recolor (with silver hair no less) made me think Toriyama could have really done a bit more with this.

I do consider the godly route and abandoning the Saiyan's simian traits etc a superior concept overall to them reembracing them, but in terms of design I'd actually like the simian route to be explored more. What I'd borrow from the godly transformations though is the nomenclature, since "SSj4" feels and looks nothing like the logical extension or evolution of SSj3 or any other form before it. Also, much like UI Sign, SSj4 doesn't look much like a final form, more like a transitional state - something that was just proven to us when it comes to UI Omen, and therefore in all likelihood intended by the designer of the form right off the bat. Both these forms share a badass intensity that was missing from SSj God and SSJ Blue, but I'm hoping it won't be gone from UI Mastered.

Anyway, had SSj4 not been named that, it would have been much easier to accept or even embrace for many fans. Calling it something like "SSj Primal", with further forms on top of it being extensions like "SSj Primal 2" would probably be the best route to go. While lots of fan transformations are severely overdesigned, that "Tablos" fan transformation of SSj5 was a really good design and it resonated with lots of fans to the point where it's still replicated to this day. Too bad SSj God constituted such a huge leap from previous transformations that the very concepts of SSj 4-5 are largely redundant these days, even though SSj God later appeared to be downplayed considerably due to it originally being written with no serialized continuation in mind.

That does look nice...I get what its going for too. To me it seems like a combination of SS3 and SS4 with different color schemes.

Hmmm but I dont know...I dont like the green skirt and green shoes....and theres a bit too much hair

I honestly did like the design of SS4. But GT did such a terrible job of making it feel powerful. That form felt incredibly weak and lackluster after the Baby arc

Thanfully Toriyama/Toei are going to make Goku mastered UI feel godly powerful

And I really do feel that Goku's mastered UI form is going to look amazing in motion while animated

I do agree that calling SSJ4 primal and having it start its own line of transformations of primal, wouldve been better

Personally I prefer Young Jiji's design of Ssj5:

Anyway, I hope MUI really doesn't ends up disapointing me, I always wished there was a Ssj White or some sort of, (a reason why I like Ssj5) and we are finally getting it, these are going to be two really long weeks.

Well, both Toyotaro and Young Jiji were directly inspired by that fanart of "Tablos", SSj5 is basically silver fur and long silver hair. But it does fit beautifully as an extension of SSj4.

Could it be that UI Sign and UI Completed are nods to SSj4 and SSj5? I mean it's a pretty good possibility, given the similarities of Sign to SSj4 that many ppl have noticed already.
