^No I don't even know what you mean by "Vegeta's Cooking Hell" but it sounds cruel.
Especially when I searched in Wiki for "Iron Chef", and realized that you ARE cruel :D...
....omg! that would be very funny

Well, Vegeta's Cooking Hell is a song that has Vegeta as the host of a cooking show. A rather violent cooking show, I might add. But sadly, he fails because he forgets the mayonaise.

It really is quite hilarious.

Don't know if this is the right topic, but have you guys heard about 'Camila Sodi' has been rumoured to be cast as bulma. I don't know her, I wonder if they're going to give her blue hair.

Bulma's had such crazy variation in hair color (Is it blue? Is it aqua? Is it green? Is it lavender?) that I wouldn't really be phased at all by her as a brunette. As long as her personality's in tact I'm fine.

Should I say my opinion about Bulma's hair? :D

Or I should just repeat - Even if a smallest detail would be changed from original DBZ style, it would be fatal to me...

Hrm.. the Bulma actor dosen't look too bad, I think if they do her hair properly and she IS a good actor, then she'll have a good role. ^^

I disliked Justin Chatwin's acting in The Invisible, though it's hard to say how much I was just reacting to the irritating character he played. The smirk got to me. Based on that and War of the Worlds, I was surprised it was him. I didn't think he showed a lot of range. Physically and in acting style he fits the roles he's been typecast in, "the teen with issues." And one of the marks of a good actor in my opinion is how well they can deliver a bad line without bringing too much attention to the fact that it's a bad line. When he got bad lines, he delivered them like... horribly bad lines, with no attempt to do anything with them. "I see you, Annie..." Bleh. My friend who went to the movie with me agreed, his final scenes came off as just silly, but it seemed like he was playing it pretty much the only way he knew how to. Though, who knows, maybe he's secretly a action star trapped in the looks and roles of a emo kid and this movie will prove him great. I'd give him a chance. But I doubt it somehow.

It seems a bit strange to me that so far there hasn't been one major actor connected to it, I was expecting Bulma's actress would be if not the protagonist and antagonist. Generally when starting a new franchise they'd want to anchor it with a known name.

Yeah but if its a known name wouldn't you more apt to see the character as the actor/actress in cosplay than the character himself/herself?

Either way it still makes me uneasy.
Animation-adapted-into-live-action usually does.

I mean, has anyone seen that commercial for live-action chipmunks?! It looks so bad. @_@
They had one of them showering inside a dishwasher.
It made me glad I barely remember those guys from when I was little.
On hiatus.

If I understood this well, I'll say:
No the more known name he/she is, the more horrible movie will be, to me.
So If it will be completely 3D without showing their stupid-celebrity faces, than there is a liiiiiiittle chance that it will not be disaster.
But like it says "live action" at least actors must be seen, damn!!!

You do realize (if Chud.com's character synopsis was real) that Goku actually is an "emo kid" in this movie, right? The synopsis called for him to be an "unpopular student."

As scary as it sounds, nothing has debunked this article yet. And, based on the casting choice for Goku, I really don't see any more reason to doubt this article...

Personally, my only hope for this movie, is that it will have some great special effects. I've given up any hope on the movie actually being good, as far as writing goes. All I can hope for now is satisfying the inner fan-boy in me that's always looked at Dragonball action, and said "it'd be so awesome to see that happen in real life."

Although... any movie slated to come out this late in the season is clearly not one of Fox's "big budget, blockbuster" movies. So, it would seem that even that hope of mine is a very dim one.

Lets hope we at least see Kamehameha...

I will say in his defense that not all actors hit their stride right out of the box. A great many don't. People think of Ron Perlman these days for action roles like Hellboy, Johner, Reinhardt, or they look back fondly to Vincent from Beauty and the Beast. But noone talks about the decade before on Ryan's Hope *shudder*.

How about Sam Jackson. Does anyone mention roles like Jules or Mace Windu or Ordell in the same sentence as "Mister Senor Love Daddy?"

Noone thought "that guy from Top Gun and Days off Lestat, and he did quite masterfully.

Mork and Mindy would not prepare one for viewing stuff like Dead poets Society or What Dreams May Come.

I may be in the minority here, but I think the the first Star Wars (meaning ep 4) had some incredibly wooden acting. The actors improved greatly over the course of the trilogy.

Phsyically speaking- ever see the Blade films? Matt Schulze played Chupa in Blade II. He was the big vampire in the blood pack, looked like steroids were his closest friend. What you may not realize is that he also played Crease in the first film- and he basically looked like a Matthew Lillard stand-in.

Just a few examples off the top of my head, and I'm not even necessarily saying that Justin Chatwin as Goku will be looked upon as this epic role. I'm just saying you never know.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

And they're the ones who broke the news about Wong being the director.
(they're generally reliable anyway)
