(Horoko's just fine, btw.) The tapering waist thing comes from years of drawing (barely sketching hurrhurr) characters and creatures like have. Sort of hard to get into that specific mindset again.Velasa wrote:Long-name-dude, totally digging the sketchiness of the pieces, it's awesome looking. All you need to do is widen their waists and it's a straight-up awesome picture.
My second attempt at Goku (which I did not save) done in said style looked like a transvestite, shirtless hooker. XD
Thank you for the advice, though!

Alrighty Horoku. I don't mind the long slender figures- I'm quite fond of that kind of sketching myself. I'd just suggest widening their waists... at most half a centimeter on either side to balance out the mass of their pecs.
Oh, and since I actually posted something straight-up cannon I figured I'd link you guys.

I would have to say the Broly one. It seems like it would fit Broly's character and personality a lot more than Bardock. Plus since that picture of Bardock is a fan-work it just bugged a bit. Great job on both of those, can't wait to see more!
And very good job SSj Gogito, I love how you always get the colors down so crisp and accurate.
I have a request for Metalwario64. Could you re-post the 'spaghetti-men', 'night of the living dead reject Saiyans' pictures up again.
I fail to find what page they were posted on.
I've said this many times before. Ssj Gogito deserves to work for FUNi's DB/Z/GT merchandise artwork. Whoever they hired to vector images from the series were terrible. Blech.

By the way, who was it that called Kenshi's drawings "Night of the Living Dead rejects"?

Thanks for reminding me...NeptuneKai wrote:Oh god that cracked me up, I totally forgot about that image. I wonder if he purposely made the faces on his characters look so awful.
(By the way anyone remember the images in his photobucket?)

At Primary School all my classmates drew pics sort of like this.
Even
Speaking of art, I did some more pics.
My version of the notorious DBZ High School fanfics.

Dragonball Gender Benders (Goku, Kuririn, Bulma, Yamcha and Launch)

Collab with my friend StarbearerTM (she drew Bulma's rightleg and coloured the pic, I did the lineart)

Where's The Beef
The guy in the middle actually looks like he could be a cool character. Not Spaghetti man, but something else. Like a weird tentacle man or something.Metalwario64 wrote:Snail wrote:I have a request for Metalwario64.
