Suppose Toyotaro/Toriyama's decided not to skip the RoF arc in the manga. How would you expect for it to unfold, compared to the three chapter promo manga or the anime arc? My thoughts:

• From Whis's statement and the narrator, we know the basics. Freeza was revived. Attacked Earth. Goku/Vegeta were training with Whis, achieved Blue. Blue was used to defeat Freeza's new Golden Form.
• It would probably be around the same length as the BoG arc. Four shortish chapters. This likely means any extended fight scenes with either Shisami or Tagoma (if he isn't killed on the ship are unlikely.
• The actual resurrection of Freeza, the Earthlings' fights with the mooks, and the Jaco/Bulma stuff probably doesn't change.
• I don't think red-haired Super Saiyan God or yellow-haired Super Saiyan would make an appearance. Though maybe red-haired God appears during training? I don't mind what Toyotaro did in the promo chapter, with the image of Goku's God form behind him with a strike. But Whis having them train in their base forms is consistent with Chapter 5.
• If the Gohan losing and regaining his mystic powers subplot is exclusive to the anime, then maybe Gohan fighting as a Super Saiyan instead of in his Ultimate form is changed. Though in the manga, he doesn't confront Freeza, so perhaps he had no need for full power. I don't think Piccolo would die.
• I'm pretty sure Goku would still fight non-Golden Freeza in his base form. While Toyotaro has seemingly avoided bloat for the non-Goku/Vegeta cast, and with Goku as well in deciding against employing Kaioken, base Goku and Vegeta were featured prominently in the Champa Arc.
• I can see the Goku vs Golden Freeza fight progressing as it did in the movie/anime (the two fighting, Goku coming out ahead in the end, Sorbet catching him off guard, Vegeta stepping in, Freeza losing golden and blowing up Earth, Whis reversing time and Goku getting the final shot). What might change are the specifics. Toyotaro/Toriyama have been pushing the weaknesses for Blue for a couple arcs now. Would it make sense for Golden Freeza to have the same weakness, but just get weaker (maybe this is how Sorbet catches Goku off guard, weakened/out of energy as Whis teases in the promo manga when they train)? Or maybe the implied weakness for Blue is using it more than once instead of once for a long time?

Honestly, I don't think it would be much different than the three-chapter promo manga, plus the Golden Freeza fight from the movie.

Anyhow, what are your thoughts? Things I missed? Things I'm wrong about?

The same exact way it took place in the movie, except 1 minor change
Goku uses SSG against Final Form Freeza
Or Goku and Freeza skip the warm up and just start at max power.

I think he'd use the 3 chapter movie "F" manga, and just continue it with a 4th chapter and it'd play out exactly the same way as the movie. He could only stretch BoG so far! I'm surprised he got 4 chapters or so out of BoG since most anime has about a chapter and a half of manga adapted per anime episode.

I think he skip the RoF chapter because of the old SSJ form coming back

That is the best looking Vegeta that Toyotaro has ever drawn.

If Toyotaro were to finish the RoF arc, in order to give the SSG moments more impact in the Universe 6/Zamasu arcs, I don't think Goku should/would use SSG.

Also, people give Toyotaro too much crap for how he sometimes draws heads in relations to necks. He's deforming the posture to emphasize intensity...and it's a pretty basic technique. I understand that it's not something Toriyama did much, people are acting like Toyotaro doesn't know any better. I think it looks great.

Except for the fact that he often fails at the technique. Instead of being intense, it just looks goofy.

Yeah the above examples really highlight how much he needs to work on his head/alignment

I think it started way back in his af day, where he drew a odd panel of #17 with his neck look a bit off,it must be one of his habit and is becoming more apparent thanks chapter 22 and 23

    Well...I could not disagree more.

For the larger drawing of Super Saiyan Goku, it is very clearly a deformed pose. The perspective is exaggerated for distance (small feet, larger legs, larger torso/head, larger hand) and movement. Is it anatomically correct? No. Is it meant to be? No. I fail to see how this is a failure of execution.

Also, how different is that top left pose from this? They certainly have their differences, but does Toyotaro's really look so ridiculous in comparison?

Now, Toyotaro is clearly not the master that Toriyama is. Toriyama is my favorite manga artist by far, and one of my favorite artists in general. If you look at Toyotaro's work expecting the same quality that we got from Toriyama, it's going to fall short no matter who you put behind the pen (Jiji and GarrowLee included). What I like about Toyotaro is that while his art is meant to be an imitation of Toriyama's, he puts his own spin on it that still gives you the feeling of Dragon Ball excitement while you look at it. Perhaps something is lost when you look at it on a digital monitor, but when I received my copy of Viz's Super Vol.1, it really hit me.

    Anyway, feel free to disagree.

I wonder if the tournament is going to be interrupted?

EDIT: Probably not. I don't think the cast will be split up to fight another threat. From reading the announcement thread, maybe someone just drops out? Yamcha/Goten/Trunks being the most likely subs. I don't think anybody dead is in play, and we just saw Future Trunks.

This is purely speculation but I heard from others around the net that someone will refuse to join and Beerus forces Goku to make a run to hell to grab someone. A twist like that would be awesome, but other than Cell or even finding a way to bring back Zamasu, not many big names they could bring in maybe a good opportunity to introduce a movie villain.

Damn Toyotaro really can't draw necks, and he really loves Super Saiyan God.
It's about time someone points out to Toyotaro his terrible skills at neck placement.

But the translation is strange. Many questions and answers have not been made. Just for example no one asks for things around the power tournament but only ask for anticipations about Dragon Ball Super. And he confirms that Dragon Ball Super will end with Z's end
