Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I hope they will explain and show off Freeza's training in the movie. Maybe Freeza has a mutant bath that he sleeps inside for four years to make him stronger. I mean if a Room of Spirit and Time can make Goku super strong in one year then anything is possible. If they had this technology all of this time and why Freeza never used it could be that Freeza's ego always got in the way. His ego made him think that no one was stronger then him despite him knowing that Beerus can beat him. Like a few other people said that we don't know how Freeza's race works and how their bodies work after getting stronger.

My point was that we don't need to know the number to know the enormity of the difference. Buu saga SSJ3 Goku was much inferior to SSJ3 Gotenks, who was much inferior to Mystic Gohan, who was much inferior to Gohan-Buu, who was much inferior to SSJ Vegetto. And then in BOG its implied that SSJG Goku is superior to the hypothetical max of Vegetto, which is why they dismiss using fusion. And the latest trailer for this movie implies that Freeza is superior to SSJG Goku.Doctor. wrote:
Yes, but we don't know what the difference between Vegetto and Freeza even is. We know that base Goku was around Freeza's level, so we know that Freeza is 400x weaker than SSJ3 Goku, but that's about it. We don't know the difference between SSJ3 Goku and SSJG Goku to make a judgement saying that Freeza got "millions" of times stronger.

The new Nick TMNT show has, honestly, and this is coming from someone who grew up on the old cartoon and still enjoys it, pretty much been an improvement in every way. I'm far from versed in that fandom, but for the most part it seems that most Batman fans enjoy the last batch of films at least more so than the Adam West stuff. Seriously, this makes no sense whatsoever. If it's good, it's good.Kakarot9001 wrote:Of course, because the new will never surpass the old, period.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Right, because super strong villains way above anyone else before them never came before in the franchise, right?Kakarot9001 wrote:Still makes me mad how Beerus could be stronger than a SSJ3 Vegetto, what a overpower, dude... That's why I hate BoG
Just, y'know, Tao, Daimao, Raditz, Vegeta, Freeza, 17 , 18 and Boo.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
The thing is, Vegetto is an endgame character, so yeah, Beerus being cynically stronger... eh. I doesn't sit well with me either.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
The endgame character is Beerus now. That's all there is to it. If DB didn't stop serialization and BoG came right after the Boo arc in the manga, I'm sure nobody would complain because this type of stuff happened before.Drayenko wrote:The thing is, Vegetto is an endgame character, so yeah, Beerus being cynically stronger... eh. Ah! Just kidding you guys... You're right if it's good then it's good. But all those media that came nowadays for the franchise not even compare with the original story and some TOEI Movies, that's my point.Drayenko wrote:Seriously, this makes no sense whatsoever. That's what I mean it! I mean, fuck... How Vegetto could be surpassed, damn.
But we still have SSJ4 Gogeta at least, he could destroy Beerus and Whis using only 40% full power lol

But the thing is IT ended. We even got an epilogue. That's why all these new things don't sit well with me, except for the 2008 special, where they outright say "you know, the threat was so insignificant it wasn't even worth mentioning."Doctor. wrote: The endgame character is Beerus now. BoG is a not a part of the manga, so If I consider only the manga, Beerus never existed and Vegetto and Ultimate Gohan would still be top badassesDoctor. wrote:The endgame character is Beerus now. but yeah, I'm not like that... So is sad to admit that Beerus is that strong, damn you Toriyama

No. I really love this series, but because I love does not exactly mean that I have to love EVERY character introduced in the show, no... I'll never like Beerus, he made SSJ3 Goku, Vegetto, Ultimate Gohan looks like shit compared to him and I hated him even more after he said that Whis is in fact beyond his power... If BoG wasn't so overpower based maybe I would enjoy more the movieRetan wrote:You must really hate this series if this upsets you.

I'm just saying Beerus is not exactly a new trend for this series.

Yeah, it happen in every arc but after the Android Arc the overpower became less absurd than in the past arcs

I really hope the next film takes place after Uub's introduction.Drayenko wrote:But the thing is IT ended. We even got an epilogue. Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
The way I see it. At the beginning we are focused on Earth, and we expand on Earth alone, everything makes sense. Then we have the Saiyans, where we learn there is a universe full of strong people. Let's omit the Android saga just because. In the Buu saga we get an Universal scale. We have the Kaioshins and all of that. We have explored everything. Kaio shin never mentions a God of destruction, ever. Buu is the final "thing," the worst that's happened to the UNIVERSE.Retan wrote: I'm just saying Beerus is not exactly a new trend for this series.
I'm saying that off the top of my head, but yeah. Beerus kinda comes out of nowhere, because we had an epilogue with no mention of any of these things.
Bleh. I like the idea of Beerus and the different universes. The power scales, not so much. Super Saiyajin God, even less. IT really does come out of nowhere.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
And now they're introducing a multiverse so, no, Boo isn't the final thing.Drayenko wrote:The way I see it. Every villain in Dragon Ball comes out of nowhere.

A Multiverse that is never mentioned in the epilogue, yay. Buu is the final thing and that's why Uub is a thing.Doctor. wrote: And now they're introducing a multiverse so, no, Boo isn't the final thing.

If all these things came after the manga's ending, I'd have no reason not to love them.

And before Vegetto was an endgame character, Gohan was. That's how the show has always gone.Drayenko wrote:The thing is, Vegetto is an endgame character, so yeah, Beerus being cynically stronger... eh. I doesn't sit well with me either.
I mean hey, Gohan's my favorite character and the reason I got into the show, but I'm not so attached to him that any property is ruined forever just because he looks inferior to other characters, y'know?
