Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I don't think Vegetto should be defused because there's already like fifteen Gokus and Vegetas here.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Only Universe's 13 and 18 have Goku and Vegeta, and I don't really count 13's Kakarot as Goku.Rocketman wrote:I don't think Vegetto should be defused because there's already like fifteen Gokus and Vegetas here.

Goku asks her after he beats her at the 23rd budokai.DNA wrote:Goku did not propose to Chichi, Chichi asked him if he would marry her and he nonchalantly said yes, even though he had no clue what it was.miguelnuva1 wrote:Goku wasn't forced to Marry Chichi he proposed to her, we have no idea if Vegeta even asked Bulma to marry him or if he just agreed to marry her for her sake or what happened. I would say Goku and Vegeta care about the same for their family.rereboy wrote:Goku married Chichi because he was basically forced to. Vegeta and Bulma got together of their own free will and fellings and overall Vegeta seems to care more about Bulma as his wife and lover.
And as far as I know, no one has ever said if Vegeta and Bulma are or aren't married.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Okay. Bra is so strong cause Vegetto is her father correct? Plus her being half saiyan. I don't see what's wrong with her being so strong. Can someone explain please?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I don't have a problem with Bra being that strong either, but why isn't Pan anything special? Ultimate Gohan is her father and she trains with Bra and Vegetto.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
She yells at him, refuses to tell him who she is or why she is upset and then tries her best to win against him and hurt him during their match while still refusing to provide him with any information regarding her.miguelnuva1 wrote:

When he does beat her, she tells him grudgingly who she is and why she is upset.
Then, Goku, being the simple and honest fool that he is, basically says: "Ok, fine, I had no idea what I was agreeing to and I don't see you in that way at all, but since you are so upset and since I did promise, I guess we should get married... Why are you clinging to my arm?"
Quite a proposal.
And after that, do we see anything implying that he grew to love her deeply and emotionally? Or do we just see him interact with her pretty much the same way he did previously, just with more familiarity perhaps and the obligatory kid-making sex?
Now lets see Vegeta.
We stays on Earth because Freeza had been defeated by SSJ Goku and later due to Trunks' warning. He's basically living at Bulma's place. Somehow those two got involved, probably a booty call which was much more about lust than actually love.
We then see Bulma with baby Trunks basically saying that she and Vegeta are not together despite the baby, implying that it really was a booty call. However, Vegeta develops quite a bit in the Cell saga and Buu saga (and the years in between). We see him growing fond and attached to his son and wife/woman/partner. It is implied that he grows to love them deeply. So much so that he hardly recognizes himself and that causes his actions in the Buu saga, with him trying to be like his old self again. But he fails at trying to be evil again due to that same fondness and love.
She is special, she humiliated suppressed Bojack.Storm101 wrote:I don't have a problem with Bra being that strong either, but why isn't Pan anything special? Ultimate Gohan is her father and she trains with Bra and Vegetto.
However, she isn't special enough to have enough power in just her SSJ1 form to beat an opponent with a power around Perfect Cell's. Meaning, she can't top with just her SSJ1 an opponent who competes in the "regular" SSJ2 tier. That would require her to be a freak.
And Vegetto is a fusion freak, which is why his abnormal SSJ1 can compete and be better than "normal" SSJ1s, SSJ2s and even SSJ3s. Bra is a product of that freak, but not that extreme. She can compete and be better than "normal" SSJ3s with her SSJ2 but not with just her SSJ1 like her father can.
Pan does have a pretty strong father, but, even though Gohan is powered beyond his natural limits, he is not a freak like Vegetto is. I mean, just the power difference between the two is immense. SSJ1 Vegetto was able to toy with Gohan-Buu with ease. If he was up against just Gohan and not Gohan-Buu, it would be even more one-sided.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I know this was anime only(and to be honest the anime capture relationships better than the manga) but Goku did kiss Chi Chi. So that kinda shows he does indeed love her. Before Goku died from Cell. He did tell Gohan to tell Chi Chi that he's sorry that was selfish. So....I think Goku grew to love her. W get more Bulma + Vegeta moments so it's not really fair to compare them. I sure if Goku and Chi Chi got some more moments like when Goku recovers from the virus we could say the same thing for Goku as we can for Vegeta. Minus the lust.rereboy wrote:She yells at him, refuses to tell him who she is or why she is upset and then tries her best to win against him and hurt him during their match while still refusing to provide him with any information regarding her.miguelnuva1 wrote:

Zenbu is Japanese for 'all'.CaBrPi wrote:"Zen Buu" is a play on the term "zenbu", which is, like, a Buddhist concept meaning "everything".
Or something. Not really sure.

I guess you're right, but according to the tier list SSJ1 Bra actually can hang with the SSJ3s.rereboy wrote:miguelnuva1 wrote:

Kissing the woman you had children with and telling her you're sorry for being selfish does not imply you actually love her. In fact, the second action might reinforce the fact that you don't.TheGmGoken wrote:I know this was anime only(and to be honest the anime capture relationships better than the manga) but Goku did kiss Chi Chi. Like you said, the kiss is anime only.TheGmGoken wrote:

As for the rest, the problem is that Goku is not nicer or friendlier towards Chichi compared to his friends nor does he show any signs of considering her really important. In fact, Goku just acts towards her like he would towards a close friend, both explicitly and implicitly. Him telling Chichi that he is sorry is the bare minimum of consideration that Goku could show towards her and the same kind of consideration that he would spare towards any of his friends. There's nothing in there to make us believe that he really considers her that special, as it would if he really loved her that much, other than whatever we want to assume despite not being there.
On the other hand, those things exist for Vegeta. We are lead to believe that Bulma and Trunks hold a very special place in his heart.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
As I said. We seen more Bulma and Vegeta scenes than GOku and Chi Chi. So it's not a fair deal IMO. Some of the things he said before he died to Gohan. Was mostly about Chi Chi which kinda hints he hold her a little above everyone else. I never seen Goku say he was selfish and did only what he wanted to anyone else but Chi Chi. Also just like History of Trunks. I rather go by Goku recovery in the anime than in the manga. It fits better.

Goku doesn't give a whole lot of f***s, and by that he only gave 2 f***s
, about Chi Chi, he left her to go train Uub for 5 years. What a wonderful husband

And did Gohan ever imply that he wouldn't have? He's not saying he's any better, he's just telling Vegetto to stop being a sook and accept that he lost. And rightfully so.TheMightyOzaru wrote:Yeah, provoke Vegetto, Gohan. Even though you would have lost to this technique as well.

rightfully so? Under average tournament rules, that's not so fair. He can also tell Vegetto he lost without rubbing it in his face.Saiga wrote:And did Gohan ever imply that he wouldn't have? XXI's victory was completely by the books, totally fair. And Gohan's not rubbing it in his face, just making it clear that he did lose fairly. His analogy about the Earth was also a good one - being removed from the fight is as good as a loss.TheMightyOzaru wrote: rightfully so? Under average tournament rules, that's not so fair. Didn't Vegetto lose in a similar way as Broly. Sure Broly put up a fight but the way he lost was the sameTheMightyOzaru wrote:rightfully so? Under average tournament rules, that's not so fair. The rules of the Tenkaichi Budokai are
1. No hitting below the belt.
2. No outside help.. ( Kinto'un)
3. No man made weapons.. However natural claws, tails, miracle round gum are fine.
4. Killing your opponent gets you disqualified.
5. You lose if you surrender.
6. You lose if you get knocked out.
7. You lose if you're on the ground for more than 10 seconds
8. You lose if you're knocked out of bounds.
No where does it say you can't teleport your opponent to another dimension because in the end, you're not killing him and it still results in a ring out.
