I can understand the Goofy outfits in Dragon Ball, but Z?

I mean, a vest with PAULDRONS! and a thong? That's supposed to make them look intimidating? BTW, what makes the Chaos Space Marines so intimidating isn't just the spikes, but also the shape and colour of the armour combined with the reputation of the CSMs. I mean, for being the butchers of the Galaxy, the Saiyans look like rejects from Motley Crue.

Umm...you do realize that AKira Toriyama tend to make villain to look LESS intimidating right? It was never his purpose. He made them look less scary because of the point of "Never judge a book by it's cover". Why you think SSG wasn't all fierce looking?

Umm...you do realize that AKira Toriyama tend to make villain to look LESS intimidating right? It was never his purpose. He made them look less scary because of the point of "Never judge a book by it's cover". Why you think SSG wasn't all fierce looking?

I can easily understand that theme, with Vegeta/Freeza/Kid Buu being smaller than their enemies, but in terms of the minions' uniforms? I mean, you'd think for being the space equivalent of Vikings/Pirates, the Saiyans would have better fashion sense.

Why would Freeza care for fashion? When he transforms he's naked anyways(Besides...underwear?). Not like he honestly care for his minions anyways.

All that aside, though, this is the first criticism I've ever heard against the armor. That was always one of the coolest things. Everyone always wanted Saiyan armor.

I've seen it a few times, but I don't like it when someone is looked down upon for uttering "ascended" in regard to SSJ2. It's not like it's an inaccurate translation of what Goku says to Buu, so it just strikes me as dub-hating.

I quite enjoyed Movie 11, actually. Granted, there could have been a better villain, but that doesn't take away from the greatness of seeing the B-list and C-list characters in the spotlight for once. Only Goku got an appearance. We can never get enough of Mr. Satan's shenanigans.

I find SSJ2 Kid Gohan and Ultimate Gohan to be overrated. He gets an instant power-up, gets in over his head, and is far too cocky for my taste. The worst was against Cell; the moment he lost the advantage, he fell to his knees and just accepted it. Same goes for after Cell came back, it took Goku encouraging him to fight back to actually do so. While Ultimate Gohan does not suffer from the traits mentioned in my last sentence, I still hate how easy it was for him to come into being.

I actually agree with both of your opinions. Movie 11 is a lot of fun, and I don't care that Broly was turned into slime-monster mainly because I don't really care for Broly anyways.

Movie 11 does have it's good points (from what I've seen), I agree. The truly bad movies are between the 4th and 7th ones.

SSJ2 Kid Gohan was more arrogant than cocky since he was deliberately dragging the battle out to make Cell suffer. He was lost with rage. Ultimate Gohan was the cocky one.
