Finally, some English dialogues for the people who pre-ordered/going to buy the NA version.

I just saw those English pics. Is it just me, or does the font that they use look like utter shit?

Like it matters...I just want my hands on this damn game. *prays for the availability of Japanese music*

The graphics in those screenshots don't look right, not to mention the text. It's as if someone illegally ripped it off or something.

The font the screens use can be used in MSPaint. It's called "System". The shadow effect can be done in MSPaint too.

I doubt that GameKult would do anything like this. I would understand that if the fonts look funny to some people, but the only thing "wrong" about the graphics is that they're zoomed in. Some recent screenshots at IGN and GameSpot also has the same "problem". (Note the visible pixel/blocks)

Yes, it's just just you (Only kidding). It might be also due to the same issue that I had mentioned above. But I think that the font may look crappy in its original resolution also.

Edit- I just tried decreasing the dimension of the image and yes, the font still looks crappy.

Some of these screenshots look pretty cool though.

I love how they have character models for background characters. (I.E: Dende)
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

There are more background characters other than Dende? Kaiosama maybe?

They used a typewriter font? Ah well, even if it is kinda blocky, as long as its fairly easy to read I'm ok with it.

Minor characters as NPCs or minor characters as playables? Sparking! NEO has a lot of characters most people won't give a shit about because they're so minor. Sauza, Zangya, Kiwi, East Kaioshin, Yajirobe, most of them don't have too much demand to be playable characters.

Nope, minor characters as background characters, supporting characters, non-playble characters.

I understand what you mean, most of those you mentioned wont do that much. :?

You know what Sparking! NEO could have used? Some henchman as enemies that you can't unlock. It's always fun to fight characters you can't play as.

That's so 1991 though. (Read: Street Fighter II)

Although granted, some trivial henchmen to beat up on the way to some important character (like Freeza) would be fun. But you can't have everything. =D

That's what I meant. Of course we'd want to play as the super powerful omega character, but noone would care about nameless henchmen, or even some of the named henchmen.

They should have some of the nameless, like Bardock's friends. Or did I miss something? I know he said three of them.

Yeah. Barely. I got 10,000 (or was it 100,000?) Zeni for having a Sparking! save file on there. It's in one of the options menus... doesn't automatically give it to you.

Are the movie villains unlocked in this simply by defeating their storylines or are there other qualifications?
