I can't read the text, but it looks like Goku is doing some meditation shit in SSB, or telepathically communicating with someone (Future King Kai?). Also, does the people who fused get their full strength back upon separating?

Vegeta's rage boost may had been temporary when Vegeta first did it, but the fact that Trunks could make his SS2 form as strong as a SS3 form, and the fact that SS2 Vegeta is even stronger than that when he is an equal to Goku in his base/SS/SSG/SSB forms means that after BoG, Vegeta made the boost permanent to his SS2 form. It's so simple, really.

Did Vegeta actually say his SSJ2 form is stronger than Future Trunks SSJ2 form? Because I'd assume he'd only make that assumption because he knows he became much stronger overall from training with Whis and in the ROSAT for three years.

I doubt it's the Kaioken, with how draining Toyo has made SSB, Kaioken would probably be damn useless... Then again, the stamina drain of KK only seems to come into effect when it's dramatically convenient, so...

Tbh this is feels like Goku vs Bebi, when he gets healed he uses Full Power SSJ4 and stomps Oozaru Baby.

The Portals technique, not as effective as when Hit was using it.

Well, there wasn't really anything wrong with the Spirit Bomb + sword combo in and of itself. The anime's problem was having Trunks magically pull the energy in on his own based on nothing but the power of friendship. If the manga has Goku, who actually knows how to do the Spirit Bomb, use the technique and then give it to Trunks, then there shouldn't be a problem.

There wasnt anything with both Goku and Vegeta giving their Ki to Trunks, we already saw other characters giving their Ki to someone else to boost him up(Gohan/Krillin on Piccolo, Goku to Frieza, etc).
